    I always wanted to buy some kind of cheap and crappy electric guitar in some second-hand store, and do weird things to it – I like weird instruments a lot :)

    Fender&ehx;, what Bauhaus album would you recommend? I only heard one song of theirs, Bela Lugosi’s Dead, and thought it was quite awesome..

    It’s a shame we don’t get lotsa concerts in Russia – though I went to Santana and stood the whole concert staring at his PRSs, they were sooo beautiful :)

    A big thanks for that awesome video, Scott!
    And I read an interview with Slipknot recently – they said that all the weird sounds on the “Iowa” album are not synths, but just a guitar through an Electric Mistress, and sometimes through a Big Muff into a Memory Man.
    Also, Deftones are uber-cool.

    Tom Waits. Worth mentioning are Seasick Steve, Marilyn Manson, Radiohead and ZZ Top.

    Watched some videos where a guitar is played through and now I want it too. However, YouTube quality sucks, and since it’s supposed to be based on the Russian BMP, is there any tonal difference?

    I like the XO version more too. Of course, the Big Muff should be big, no problems, but other pedals look nicer imo and of course, the Boss-styled power adapter is a huge plus, for me at least.

    Spent some more time with the Metal Muff, and it truly is a beast. Spent a lot of time EQing my clean channel and the Muff, but got some real Slayerish tones. And the pinch-harmonics are awesome. I don’t play metal, so I guess I won’t be buying it, but still, it’s a great pedal.
    P.S. We (actually, maybe it’s just me) need some second Metal Muff – which will give more Rectifier-like tones..

    Digital stuff is cool :)
    A speaker sim would be awesome.

    And maybe some ultra-weird valve stuff like the Metasonix ones (well, not exactly like them), but at a nicer price? A new Hot Tubes pedal with something extra?

    I actually have about 6 and a half hours of music recorded by me and my friend, it was about two years ago, and it sounds terrible…. Guys from the Laney thread on UG might remember :)
    But actually, buying a hybrid amp and a big muff made me totally rethink what I want to play: before, it was brutal nu-metal, now, it’s become strange bluesy stuff. Ah well :)
