I think it could be made more ‘digital’ (so to speak) than the SMM w/H, like having a display and allowing users to load their own replacement waveforms – like, maybe, 40 EHX waveforms, 40 user waveforms?

julian, you didn’t see my idea – it was a digital pedal which takes the highest peaks of the signal waveform, and replaces them with something new. Lots of controls and stuff

Marc Ribot (the guy who plays a lot of guitar on Tom Waits’ albums) has been known to use Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissues and a DMM.
