Maybe it’ll have a combination of a Micro-synth type filter and a Bassballs-style filter? I’d love that.

I’m thinking of buying one, but I want to know – if I overdrive it (with an LPB-1, for example), I’ll be overdriving the tubes, not some transistors, right?

You’d be better off with some sort of FX blender, like the Morley one (with the expression pedal), or the Xotic one.

The Hot Tubes are a limited edition run which they’re producing with parts they have left over. So basically they’re discontinued, but I guess they pop up on eBay. Dunno if Hot Tubes can give a subtle overdrive…

I sold my CS-3 in September, but now I kinda want a compressor. Nothing fancy with lots of knobs, just to even out some stuff (I used my CS-3 mostly for metal and it was nice, ‘xcept the bypass and noise), and add some ‘punch’ to acoustic sounds.
Seems like I want a Nano Soul Preacher
