    let me count…. DMM, SMMH x2, DE7 x2, DD-20, DOD DFX-9X?, DOD 680, Maneco Filter Eko II, Line 6 Delay Park thing, PDS x2, DD-5, DD-6, PS-3, RV-3…

    Does the 2880 count?

    16/17 delays….

    :worried:

I don’t use the PS, RV for delay tho, and the others are all for their looping mainly…. Aside from the obvious ones – mostly analog or analog sim.

I’m surprised there is no deluxe FA. Although the reason I own a FA, is because it lacks the LFO. I have no use for an LFO, although if it were brought forth affordably I might be tempted….

I only played with one briefly… It does sequenced tremolo for sure. It also has some processing settings… not sure if they were filters or pitch shifting. Didn’t play too long, as I didn’t like the interface and not being able to manipulate the sequence… But the Midi Tempo in is brilliant.

EHX — more MIDI! Even if it’s just tempo sync between units….

    I’m shocked that:

    a) ehx is making both the Toy AND Boy (and also impressed… see B)

    b) there are so many people who are willing to go for the Toy ($20 cheaper) when it doesn’t have the modulation and EXPRESSION in.

I can’t imagine, unless I was an older session guy who REALLY stuck to one thing, not spending the extra $20 for the option of modulation (square!?) and expression control in…

Except of course the Toy can fit in your POCKET… ;)

Anybody use pedals with their acoustic guitars? Lets talk about it.

I use my acoustic guitar and viola thru the same set up I use for electric guitar (and everything else)…..

    What are you looking for?

ALSO – watch the Jack Conte videos (all over this here site….) He uses primarily (maybe exclusively) for all of the guitar parts…

That all said, other than very specific applications where the guitars overtones are needed, I think acoustics are best left acoustic.

mike sniper of blank dogs uses a flanger hoax and a #1 echo. the other guitarist uses a flanger hoax as well. however, i wouldn’t say blank dogs is that famous.

The underdogs of the EHX family….

I think that the Korg Nano dudes are USB > Midi only. Unfortunately not Midi > Midi controllers….

I wouldn’t mind something simple for muting each track, and control over a few other parameters I believe are only accessible thru the Midi IN.

    and….

    Quote:
    2880 2:
A better LIVE mix-down (option to simply clear out the 4 loops when mixdown is complete, or something that would prevent a second pass over dub/jump in volume.)
    Save multiple loop sets
    Independent loop lengths
On/Off switch for Feedback control with sliders
Mute channel buttons (accessible thru Midi, but I need buttons)

    Secondary ideas:
A second set of assignable outs?
    Effects sends for loops
Punch in on the foot controller
Master volume knob (not sure this is necessary at all)

    Third tier ideas:
A simple “one cable/no midi” way to sync multiple units
Ships with bigger card (yeah the price goes up, but when someone is paying this much for a looper – they’re most certainly going to upgrade the card. Why pay twice for something just to have EHX keep the price point lower… when it kind of screws the end user)
Savable presets for delay modes. Where it basically loads in a blank loop of saved size for use as delay. 2 sec, 4 sec, etc…

    that’s awesome

you’ll have to get a stereo cable and plug the expression out into the HOG’s expression in! I command you!

Already been doing that with the Goatkeeper this week. Great fun, although I have a feeling with up to 2 minutes of control, I’m going to be able to do some weird sh*t!

    We will see……
