Possibly the unit is defective but before going down that road, can you try reinstalling the firmware from this link:
https://www.ehx.com/assets/22500-firmware/22500-firmware-28.zip
You will need a standard USB cable or an SD card reader.
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorIs Loop B’s length not in sync with Loop A’s length or does Loop B sound and/or feel off from what you recorded?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorDid you have the REDUCTION knob set to maximum at the time the Moogerfooger was in the FX Loop?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorDoes this happen with Loop A also?
Even though you’re not using the internal rhythms or tempos, try changing the Tempo by going to R TEMPO and change the BPM to some other number, now try recording a fresh Loop B.
When you start up the 22500, it should display a number for about 2 seconds. What number does it show you?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorThis sounds like a cool setup! The problem you’re describing is kind of strange and I’m puzzled as to why it’s happening.
When you plug all the pedals into the FX loop, does your guitar go into the Silencer’s INPUT jack?
Does the Silencer gate the white noise as expected?
Can the white noise be tracked down to one pedal?
It’s possible the Silencer’s RETURN jack has higher input impedance than your amp and therefore the overall volume from the pedals is now louder?
Just out of curiosity, have you tried running the Silencer from a battery, does that change the white noise level?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorQuote:yup did it again. assignments are gone and so is programmed presets. any thoughts?thanks
I think the processor is bad in this Super Pulsar and it needs to be changed. When did you buy the pedal? Where are you located?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorQuote:Hej there,my question is maybe not concerned to the original forum title, but I hope you can help me out. I did order the EHX 45000 and there is unfortunately only a manual in english and spanish which is why I guess I just don’t understand the stuff properly. So here is what I want to do with the looper:
I want to record one of the tracks longer than the original loop was recorded. So the first track should loop while I record a longer one on top of it. Is that possinle??????
Thanks for decent replies!
Einen schönen Abend euch!On the 45000, each loop is made up of 4 mono tracks and one stereo Mixdown track. All tracks for a given loop are the exact same length, they cannot change length. For example if you record a 4 second loop, all tracks within the loop are 4 seconds in length.
So to answer your question, no it is not possible to record one track longer than the other tracks or to loop Track 1 while you record a longer track on top of it. All the tracks will be the same length.

I’m wondering if there might be something wrong with the jack on that voicebox- like maybe it’s not grounded right. Like I said, I bought it used, so who knows if it’s been tampered with? Do people mod those pedals? The organ pedal… well… I’m prolly gonna grin and bear it. Guitarist I used to play with had a Wiggler, and it was very noisy. “small price to pay for cool” he would say…You could be right about bad grounding on one of the Voice Box jacks. Since it was purchased used it is possible it has been fooled with.
As far as the B9 is concerned, it sounds like you recently purchased this unit brand new so it should still be under warranty. A persistent whine coming out of the B9 is not normal. It’s possible that the power supply it came with is defective. If you have a chance to try the B9 with another same EHX 9.6VDC AC Adapter that would help us figure out the problem here.
May 24, 2016 at 1:48 pm in reply to: Voice Box AND B9 Pedal problems with excessive noise in effects chain #121554Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorAs a quick test, can you borrow the power supply your bassist received with the MEL9 and try it with your B9 and let us know if the whine persists with that power supply.
As far as the Voice Box placement, it shouldn’t matter where it is inserted in the pedal chain. I have seen it used in the middle of a pedal board before an amplifier. Having said that your idea of splitting your guitar signal and then dead end it at the Voice Box is definitely worth a try.
May 23, 2016 at 2:17 pm in reply to: Voice Box AND B9 Pedal problems with excessive noise in effects chain #121546Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorWe understand you are getting excessive hum from the Voice Box’s instrument output while using the EHX 9.6V power supply. You also said you are receiving a high pitched whine from the B9. Was the B9 powered from the EHX 9.6V adapter when you heard this whine or were you using the Joyo power supply? Can you provide a link to the Joyo power supply you are using?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorQuote:I have assigned momentary external footswitch Tip&Ring; to the wave invert function and the Ring; to the expression mode function. I have set these to work with all presets and to WYSIWYG. Everything works great until I power down and backup again. When I power back up all assignments are wiped out. Thanks
Just a couple questions:
1. Does your Super Pulsar remember presets that you create and save after you power cycle?
2. When you power up the Super Pulsar, it will hang on one of the TAP DIVIDE LEDs for a couple seconds. Can you tell me which LED your unit hangs on. It should be either dotted eighth or quarter note triplet.
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorGreat to hear it’s working now.
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorThat is correct, you need to create four additional blank, filler audio files, in this case mono files, that are the exact same length as the file you are importing for TRACKM.wav. As long as all the files are the same length, then the 45000 will play the entire loop.
You could speed up the process a little bit by making one blank mono audio file, copy that to the card, call it TRACK1.WAV. Then copy and paste this track three times within the LOOP35 folder and rename each copy: TRACK2.WAV, TRACK3.WAV and TRACK4.WAV.
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorIt sounds like the .wav file that you are importing into LOOP35 is a stereo file, which is why it is only working when it is called TRACKM.wav. The four track files need to be mono and the Track M file must be stereo.
A second thing is that the 45000 needs all five .wav files to be present in a loop folder and the tempo.txt file as well. Are all the files present in LOOP35? Are they all the same length?
Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorWhat is the length of the drum loop that you imported into the 45000, in bars? The 45000 is capable of importing loops of varying lengths, the total length depending on the size of the SD card. The trick is that the 45000 loop time is based on the shortest .wav file that you import. So the best thing to do is to make sure all the .wav files you are importing are the same length. If you want to loop an 8 bar loop, you must be sure that all the .wav files you import are 8 bars in length.
