Talking Pedal ($444)I’ve never seen any of those pedals go for those prices! What am I doing wrong? They aren’t cheap, but those prices are lower than the auctions i’ve seen.

Slap-Back Echo ($99.7325)I removed those which probably have a lot of false matches (like modern pedals with the same name), I should check the list of auctions for these too to give more correct prices
The Zipper has a lot of matches for the Tube Zipper (more expensive), so I should remove these first.
At an avg of $73.5, the White Finger is the greatest bargain in the world. It’s a phenomenal compressor!
Where do you get your stats, DiscoFreq?November 26, 2008 at 1:31 pm in reply to: Vintage EHX that you can still find for a good price. #87730Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Quote:I’ll post some pics later, but here is a list of vintage EHX pedals I’ve seen sell on eBay more than a few times for less than $100.10 Band Graphic Equalizer (silver and black version)
Small Stone (both versions 1 and 2)
LPB-2
Dr. Q
Bassballs
Octave Multiplexer (3 knob version)
The Silencer
Soul PreacherA lot of the old EH pedals can be found under $100:
Slapback Echo
Double Tracking
Black Finger
Zipper
…I should check my ebay statistics for more
I recently saw a Slapback Echo sell for about $90. I wished I had bid on it.
The other 3 you listed don’t appear as often on eBay anymore; and when they do, they usually now sell for more than $100. But you’re right, there was a time not too long ago when you could find them cheaper.Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Picked it up before work today. Man, what a long ass day. Going to go clean it up and give it a test run. What is your opinion on a Screaming Tree Treble Booster and whats a good price?
I definitely wouldn’t spend more than about $80 on the foot pedal version. EHman could tell us more about the circuit, but I’ve heard that it’s only 1 component different from an LPB. Not sure if that’s really true. Mostly, you’d be paying for the collectible status.

:wave:Awesome! All the best are here.
Bieke, do you know how to reach PureTube?
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:the Black Finger was the one pedal that improved my sound without fail. I hesitate to call it an effect; it’s certainly a stompbox, but there’s really not much ‘effect’ happening. I found it warmed up everything I played while still offering a strong attack, and it somehow managed to smooth my whole sound out without drastically altering anything. I can’t really describe it, actually, so I’ll just say this: I never turned mine off.John J and I are in complete agreement on this. I never turn mine off either.
The setting I use most is:
SQSH
LED
Compression: maximum if I want to soften the attack, or about 3:00 if I want to boost the attack
Pre-Gain: 2:00
Post-Gain: 12:00Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:They remind me of a less noisey “….and you will know us by the trail of dead”I can’t say that it really did anything for me though, sorry………it’s a pity there isn’t a better shot of the pedal boards, I’d bet there was some ehx on there somewhere!
Yep, I was pretty sure that they wouldn’t appeal to you. They probably lean a bit too far to the campy discosynth side for your comfort 😆
I’ll also bet they use more EHX.
Best quote from the interview below: “It’s weird that we’re opening up for like Radiohead, and I’m still trying to figure out which pedals to use.”
Fender&EHX4everModeratorGood to have you here, Julian. It’s a bit quiet around here right now, but it will start to pick up little by little.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Currently do not have a decent pedalboard picture, but i will take one soon. Hopefully this week after i buy an EHX pedal, its about time.I’d say it’s about time. How can you be a Radiohead fan and not own a PolyChorus or a Small Stone? :nono:
