Nitefly does nice work, but you’ll never catch me rehousing an EHX pedal. I love ’em OVERSIZED and full of room to spare

    Fender&ehx4ever;has one :)

Indeed, I do. I used it at my last gig side by side with a Deluxe Memory Man and a vintage 10 Band Graphic EQ.

Like the one in FUZZ’ pic, I have the version with the Blend switch. I’ve often thought about modding it to the Parallel/Series version, but I don’t want to mess up the integrity of it. Anyone else have the other version?

I ordered a foot controller a week ago from this seller: http://www.beyondeleven.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Electro-Harmonix-16-sec-foot

Supposedly , it has been shipped already, but it hasn’t arrived yet. If and when it does, I’ll let you know that it’s a legitimate sale.

Apparently the foot controller was on backorder, so I haven’t received mine yet from beyondeleven. Is this because they are out of production? Should I cancel my order from them and just scour eBay for a used one?

The EHX Crop Circles – what a great name for a new pedal :D

    yes!! Yes it would

The Biggest Question…… What would it do?

That would be a great name for a looper with some off the wall sound that makes you go back in time or forward…

I like that. How about a looper with forward and reverse pitch-shifted repeats?

So, I’m trying to convince myself to buy a Tube Zipper. I heard the demo here https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/56/

and I’ve heard some others, but I was wondering if it can do a fuzz/distortion for rhythm playing, in addition to the crazy filter stuff? If so, how does it sound?

It’s so crazy versatile, I think you can just about do anything your imagination can muster. When you set the Resonance and Sensitivity to lower levels, the Frequency knob acts a bit like an EQ.

So next time you go to a music shop with the drummer, sneak a Graphic Fuzz in with the drumsticks, grip tape and metronome, drummers are a bit slow, he’ll think its a comb.

Reminds me of Terry in American Graffiti:
“Let me have a Three Musketeers, and a ball point pen, and one of those combs there, a pint of Old Harper, a Graphic Fuzz, a couple of flash light batteries and some beef jerk.”

Very true. From what I’ve heard I think my Little Big Muff sounds better than the Swollen Pickle.

But at the same time there’s the part of me that would love to make a board with 10 different big muff variations on it.

That’s why I chose FUZZ for my forum name. I have a large personal collection of Fuzz Pedals and Devices. I have been doing this for a long time and different recording sessions brought on new ideas and duties, thus the large collection. Sometime in your life and every ones life, you need to have 1 of each Muff, not because I work here, but for the money, used or new, you can get a great sound for a few dollars. Each is different and each inspires you to try something different. You should never get bored playing guitar. These are devices that fuel inspiration….. So rock on!

You’re killing me with GAS, FUZZ . I can’t afford this kind of habit.

that’s a great one…..it’s almost obvious when you know isn’t it? excellent suff. :thumb:

Yes it does seem obvious. I’ve always cited “Brass In Pocket” as a quintessential song that uses chorus tastefully, but I never knew which pedal it was until today. Now that I know, it’s like

The Clone Theory, Electric Mistress, and Deluxe Memory Man did as much to define the sound of New Wave and Post-Punk as any synthesizer or singer who sang “Woh oh oh oh” in a song.

Okay, I just found the most important Iconic Track of this thread (for me at least). “Brass In Pocket” is one of the greatest Rock & Roll pop songs ever written.

I am such a huge fan of the first 2 Pretenders albums, and James Honeyman-Scott was one of my all-time favorite guitarists. His approach to guitar had so much melody, fire, edginess, catchiness, groove, and personality – I can’t say enough.

I’ve never tried the Stereo Pulsar, but I have the older one in the Big Muff sized enclosure, and I’m always blown away at how great it sounds. It’s entirely different from The Wiggler in both tone and control. Only PureTube could design two tremelo pedals with such different characters and personalities :thumb:

I currently use a BOSS PN-2 and a Digitech XP-200 Modulator for my panning needs, so I haven’t gotten around to getting a Stereo Pulsar. My only complaint with the Stereo Pulsar is that it doesn’t have stereo inputs. Imagine how that would sound hooked up to the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai

Can’t wait for the new Frequency Analyzer!!! My old one is pretty f’d up…i think i fried one of the ic’s. :(

Might be an easy fix. Are the ICs in it hard to find? Also, EHX has a fantastic repair department. I sent an out of warranty pedal to them a couple of months ago, and they repaired it quickly. I think Rick is the contact.
