Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Yes
I also forgot the Boss Dr Pad’s (all versions + a few doubles), but those are sample-based
So they work similar to the EHX Instant Replay?
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:With the “trig in” (all versions) or “clock in” (on the v2) you can make it as slow as you want, but I don’t know anything about modding these…I have version 1 without the clock ports. I’ve connected the Clockworks to the Sequencer Drum through the Trig In port. Triggering the first step can be as slow as the Clockworks, but the remaining 7 steps are still determined by the rate slide of the Sequencer Drum. So you have to manually synchronize the Clockworks tempo with the Sequencer Drum rate. That doesn’t bother me so much. It’s just that I’m stuck with a limited range of tempos to play with because the Sequencer Drum rate doesn’t get slow enough. The upper 3/4 of the rate slide range is way too fast to be very useful.
I wish Julia Truchess was reading here to offer some insight
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuestion for you guys.
Has anyone figured out how to get the rate on the Sequencer Drum V.1 to go a lot slower?
Is there a mod that can be performed?Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Plus some multi-channel stuff that’s too big for EffectsDatabaseWow!!!! :gulp:
Looking at all of those I’m thinking that you could connect multiple Clockworks units together through the clock in/out port, and then run all of those simultaneously 😆
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:I have lots of analog drum synths (EHX, Russian, Polish, Japanese,…) and I was looking for one of these for years…I would love to see those. Are they listed at the Effects Database?
Fender&EHX4everModeratorFender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Does anyone know when EH made the yellow memory man? Three knobs, delay, feedback and blend, Echo/Chorus switch, one input two outputs. I tried to check the pots, but they are attached to the board. Thanks.I’m fairly sure it is from the early 80s.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorThe mono EchFlanger probably first appeared around 1977 or 1978. I’m pretty sure I have seen it in a 1978 catalog.
I believe that the Stereo Polychorus with the wooden box was introduced in the late 90s.
The wooden box period seems to be from the late 90s to about 2005.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorIf it’s just a loud popping noise, they all do that.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI’ve wondered if the new Analogizer is in any way a descendent of the Ambitron.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:well that and RIP the 16 second delay// looper –
EHX are way overdue a decent updated looper, the looping function on the hazarai was so bad I never bought a haz at allSeriously?
I have the 2880, the 16SDD, and the SMMH. All are great and do their own thing in the looping world, but I get a lot of mileage out of the SMMH looper. It’s very convenient.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI’ve never understood how tap-tempo tremolo is more useful than a tremelo that can sync to other devices like click trax, drum machines, loopers, etc.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI’m not understanding your description of smooth and choppy. I usually apply those adjectives to the tremolo effect.
I’ve never used the MXR so I can’t compare. But I love the DEM. It is a classic and instantly recognizable effect.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Quote:Dear EHX,Please, please, please re-release the Mini-Mixer so it can be used with an iPhone or iPod. It could be called the Nano-Mixer
This would be really forward-thinking.
It should include a minimum of these features:
1. pocket-size and battery operated, with an option to power off of a USB port
2. 1/4″ headphone jack and level control
3. at least 2 channels (one with a 1/4″ input, and one with an XLR input), level knob, pan knob, and clip indicator
4. stereo RCA inputs for monitoring from the iPod
5. mono RCA output to send to the iPod
6. master level knob
7. EQ would be cool, but not if it takes away from the portability. Flat response is fine.I dont think that it should to re-release the Mini-Mixer, it cant be used with an iPhone or iPod
you are wrong….I posted this thread back in 2009. Since then, a lot has been innovated… the iRig, the iPad, Garage Band for iPad 2, and finally now the Alesis IO Dock. My original wishes have been surpassed over the last 2 years.
But I would still get a kick out of seeing EHX enter the age of apps.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI just purchased one, and waiting for it to arrive. I think the Timeline is getting all the attention right now, but I am far more excited for the DMMTT.
