Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:that would be great, it would preserve it forever then too…..I’d stand it up as an ornament, it’s a thing of beauty!!
Indeed. It has the old logo used on the ’79 catalog. That is a very old 9v.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorIt looks so regal on top of the Big Muff, doesn’t it ?
There has to be someone who could encase it in a clear plastic polygon. It would make a great paperweight. 😆February 13, 2009 at 9:43 pm in reply to: Ideas for the next batch of diecast RI pedals and possible EHX pedals of the future. #93267Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Quote:Sounds cool. Did you mod it with an EHX Big Muff Fuzz and a reverse sweep? No but thats not a bad idea espescially the reverse sweep. I’d kinda like to keep my wah and distortion separate, that enable me to use a pedal i designed, that inverts or flips the sequence of my pedals in the chain. Basically I can have my wah infront of or behind my distortion with the flick of a switch

I built one of those too, but it switches the order between 4 different pedals: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1709641Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Tube Zipper into Flanger Hoax…Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Hi there!
I own one of these, i´ve bought that screwed togehter with IC HotTubes and DeluxeMemoryMann, and splitted them apart. Do not know the detail.Mojek
Yours has been modified well beyond it’s original design. I’d love to hear a demo of it. Does it actually work right now? I don’t see a power supply.

Let’s hope we don’t have this to look forward to at this forum  😆
Fender&EHX4everModeratorIn all fairness to Z, no other pedal manufacturer gets as much negativity on HCFX, short of maybe Behringer – and the majority of the negativity has to do with his pricing. That’s what irritates me. I never criticize the manufacturer for their prices – rather, I criticize the buyers who are willing to pay it. The fact is, he has a niche market that people are attracted to, and no one else is offering the same thing, so they’re willing to pay it. But too many members keep complaining about how his pedals aren’t worth $300+. Unfortunately, Z likes to defend his product publicly, which is probably the mistake. Let the product speak for itself. But it’s obvious that he likes the forum drama and debate, so this is the consequence – a riled up forum on a witch hunt screaming about forum standards, mod fairness, and blah blah blah. It’s sooooo juvenile.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorFor best straight tone: Tube BlackFinger > EHX vintage 10 Band Graphic Equalizer
For best string swells: HOG > SMMH

Fender&EHX4everModeratorIt would be cool to have a reissued Crying Tone / Talking Pedal / Bad Stone all in one treadle  Might as well throw in the Octave Multiplexer as well.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:So this is news to me, but the 2880’s software update can do pretty much everything I want if used with a midi controller. (Except be small)And my next planned purchase is the MOOG MP-201 Midi controller. . .

Good God! I think my brain would just go into overload. That’s the kind of gear I wish I had about 25 years ago, so I would actually have it somewhat mastered by now.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Ton`s WORM-modz…That’s a lot of work. I think I’ll keep mine the way it is
I have best results when using my Fender Mustang (low output single coils) and compression to regulate the incoming signal gain. That combination yields no clipping and an insignificant amount of hiss in the phaser mode.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorSounds like it’s overloading. Might need a trimpot realignment.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI remember seeing “Tear It Up” for the first time in High School on Urgh! A Music War. Lux is so completely and deliciously out of his gourd in that performance. You have to be dead to watch that and not want to start a punk band. Granted, a lot of Lux’s style was very Iggy-influenced, but The Cramps took it to a whole other level of debauchery.
