Very cool! Those 2 make a lovely pair.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorNot to be a smart-ass, but flanger is one of those effects where there’s no mistaking when it’s on or off. I don’t really need an LED to let me know.

cool collectionThe seller has seriously overestimated the worth of that lot, though. He isn’t even guaranteeing that they work. So if you assumed that every pedal there might have a component missing, or might need repair, then the lot is worth about $1000 at best.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI can’t believe the Tube Zipper was already killed off: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2244758

Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:that set up is mind boggling to meIt’s mind boggling to me too 😆
There actually is a method to it, but it’s so complicated I don’t think I could explain it.And I just realized that I have 10 pedals in the OctaSwitch  I would have to combine 2 pedals into the loops with other pedals. I don’t think I’ll ever realize this setup.

I have the gear already, I just need the time, the cables, the outlets, and the space in my house.I’m still thinking about where I’d put the Mike Matthews Dirt Road Special, the Germ OD, the Dlx Big Muff Pi, the vintage Zipper, the Tube Zipper, the PolyFlange, and the Crying Tone Wah.

Fender&EHX4everModeratorSounds like the little light bulb is burnt out on your English Muff’n.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorThey are completely different. The Micro Pog is a polyphonic digital pitch shifter that blends in an octave higher, and/or an octave lower.
The Micro Synth is a monophonic analog envelope filter that simulates old analog synthesizers. It has an octave feature, but it’s not the same as the Micro Pog’s. Neither box will replace the other. Consider getting both. They are awesome!Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Am i supposed to get a sort of static-like sound sometimes when i use it without distortion? You might be clipping the unit if your pups are really hot. Try turning the volume down on your guitar and see if the static stops. I found that both the Flanger Hoax and the Worm will clip when the input gain is too high. I remedy this by placing them after my Blackfinger compressor. Problem solved.

Has a slight bit of Thursday Afternoon and Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind element in there.

It requires 3 4pdts, if I recall correctly. I lost my flash drive that had the original diagram on it, so I’ll have to open it up to remember how I wired it.
Someday, when I have a better studio space, I’ll use it as a hub for a massive pedal rig. I would use the 4 loops for 1) Carl Martin Octaswitch, 2) SMMH, 3) Holiest Grail, and 4) HOG. I could then reverse the order of sequence easily. For example, do I want to record a loop with all of the effects on it? or do I want the loop to be dry, and run it through the effects? Do I want all of the effects to be reverbed? or do I want to run reverb through all of the effects? Etc.
