I have a vintage SP as well, and when it arrived, the treble boost switch was bad. I disassembled it, cleaned it with some contact cleaner, and now it works good as new. Maybe that’s all it needs – a bit of cleaning.

Fender&EHX4everModeratorCheck out my review at this link: https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/586/#7987
It’s a very interesting pedal, and makes a great supplement to your board; but I wouldn’t rely on it as a dedicated trem, pitch shifter, reverb, or even distortion. There’s very little flexibility in each effect.

If anybody knows where i can get the vintage poly chorus please message me.Here you go: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Electroharmonix-Polyflange_W0QQitemZ330322495580QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_210?hash=item330322495580&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:10|39:1|240:1318
I have one of these, and it’s great. The circuit is the same as the old PolyChorus, just a different name.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorIf you paid less than $150 for it, then you still got a good deal on it; but no, it isn’t a pre-1983 unit.

Fender&EHX4everModeratorThe original 4 knobbers will usually fetch anywhere between $200 – $300 on eBay depending on the condition of it, and whether you are willing to sell internationally.
I’ve owned several of them and sold them, but I’ve kept one. I wouldn’t want it to be my only delay option, but it has a very unique tonal quality that works perfectly in certain applications. I plan to hold on to it. Here are couple of demos I did for 2 units that I ended up selling.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:and how can i minimize trash from playing chords. (i know that OM is for 1 note playing… but…My plan is to divide guitar sound into 2 amp’s with distortion and octaver. but to avoid “trash” sound of Octaver i will switch OM off while i play chords.
The OM doesn’t take chords at all, at least, not without yodeling. The OM works best with staccato or short, muted, single notes.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:also, the space drum is pretty excellent. you can get those kind of tones with the crash pad, but its MUCH harsher.Do you prefer the deluxe version, or the BMP-sized version?
I can’t believe how the prices on these things have skyrocketed in the last year.Quote:please get in your car and head over. well need the sonic boomer.I’m not exactly convinced yet that I love the Sonic Boomer. It’s my least favorite of the drums I’ve heard. I send it through my Octave Multiplexer to get my kick sound. It works well that way, but by itself it’s pretty meh.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:i am in love with your pedal board(s). i hope to one day be as great as you with my effects arsenal.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Tender, sweet, gorgeous… thanks for sharing. Yes… sounds like a nice outtro. Sounds like Hall.Quote:Excellent clip, especially the end is gorgeous! Thanks guys!
Flerb with eBow allows for some great B-movie Sci-Fi sounds. I’d love to hear the flerb on a theremin

Indeed :thumb: That is beautiful!
I’m on my way toward a similar thing, but not nearly as elaborate.
At the moment I’ve got:
1. Instant Replay and Trigger Pad
2. Crash Pad
3. Sonic Boomer
4. Mini MixerEventually I’d love to have:
1. Clap Track
2. Rolling Thunder
3. Super ReplayThe Space Drum is pretty cool, but I found that if you set the trimpot in the Crash Pad high enough, you can get the Space Drum tone without compromising the intended tones of the Crash Pad. I would probably only pick up the Space Drum to be a completist, which I don’t have the $ to be
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Ever try carrying an 8 foot long 2 feet deep board to a gig?LOL
I have a Rondo Gigantic board that I’ve carried to gigs: http://www.rondomusic.com/pdc410i.html
Not quite 8′ long, but it’s like carrying a heavy keyboard around. Possible with one person, but safer with two.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorFlerb usage at the end of this soundclip: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6727674
Eventually I plan to incorporate that into a song.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Quote:Let the disappointment set for those thinking it will be anything other then a small XO DMM.It just dawned on me…other than the size, what will be different about the MB to the normal DMM? There must be something, because if the MB is cheaper then everyone will just buy it instead.
It must lacksomething…? I was thinking it would be sans modulation, or at least it wouldn’t be adjustable, but from the pic it looks like it might still have it.
Any ideas?
Maybe it has modulation, but no continuous control over it. The depth might be preset, like the rates were on the original, and the switch is just on/off.
