    Can the switch blade do A+B?

    My vintage unit does:

    1) A or B
    2) A or A+B

    I modded another vintage unit by adding a another output jack so it could do:

    1) true bypass looper with 1 effect loop
    2) A+B with a kill switch for B

    The modded one is particularly useful for my Space Echo RE101.

    The original Stereo Memory Man is a great pedal, but it maxxes out at about 300ms delay time. To get the Edge’s rhythmic style on “Streets”, I believe you’ll need more than 400ms delay time. You’ll need a Deluxe Memory Man, or a Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai for that much delay time.

    I bought one of those back in November, but I confess that I haven’t really played with it much yet. It’s been sitting in its box for awhile – and not because it didn’t sound great, I just have too many toys and I can’t get to them all.

    I love Graemy’s videos. What a collection that guy has. This video has inspired me to pull the Soul Kiss out of hibernation. Thanks for sharing.

    I’d add PIL- Public image to your list too, great stuff!

    It’s in there somewhere. It’s a really long list. I think I put “Death Disco” in there.

    I do really dig it :thumb: Totally up my alley. The post-punk era is probably my favorite era of music.

    Great vocals too. Is that you?

    I posted this over on TGP and, apart from the sane voice of Analog Mike, got a raft of OMG IT’s FULL OF MOJO DON’T TOUCH IT responses claiming you need NOS 2N5088 stuffed with faerie dust.

    There was a whole lot of faerie dust goin’ around back in the 70s, so they might be onto something. Depending on the application of the faerie dust, it probably didn’t make the pedal sound better.

    Like the Frequency Analyzer, it’s a pedal that begs you to find creative or unconventional applications for it.

    I like placing it in the effect loop of the Qtron+. It sounds great when playing staccato rhythmic lines into a delay. I also like to use it with my Sonic Boomer drum to get a fat kick sound.

    Here’s a soundclip where I use it with a Crying Tone Wah: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7486247

    Lamp/SQSH mode

    Compression = varies between 4:00 – max depending on how much attack I want to preserve
    Pre Gain = 3:00
    Post Gain = varies, but usually between 12:00 – 3:00

    In Normal mode, I like to max the Pre- Gain and Compression, but back off of the Post Gain to around 9:00.

    Yep, my fav setting on the Black Finger is SQSH with the Compression almost maxxed (but not entirely to preserve some attack), the Pre-Gain at about 3:00, and the Post-Gain set to whatever volume level I need at the moment.

    I will be eager to hear how you get along with the Holy Stain, WatsonWood. I still haven’t quite bonded with mine, but I’m working at it.

    the DMM, which is, for sure my favorite all-time delay pedal, and is the only one which I have more than one

    I still (and will) own my 2.003’s wooden-box DMM reissue but…new friends will come in:

    “My New Deluxe Memory Man”

    * PURCHASED:

    – EH DMM early reissue with AC cord and black “pointer knobs”. (2.000 or around maybe?) – USA version.
    – EH DMM later “True Bypass” reissue (cardboard box – 2.004 or after) – European version. I knew this was bought new in 2.007 more or less.

    * NEXT PURCHASE:

    – EH DMM original 4-knob version – European. The deal is already arranged, but the unit is to be repaired.

    What can I do with a quartet of DMM’s?…

    … I’ll let you know once they’re set on their right place.

    Yep, I’m a DMM fanatic as well. https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/835/#9085
