by the way, how to the v1 and v2 small stones compare? i’m trying to track one of these vintage ones down but i don’t know which one to pounce on.
According to this site ( http://www.pedalarea.com/small_stone.htm ) the v1 and v2 are essentially the same circuit with only minor modifications. I really don’t hear any big difference between them. The first Small Stone I bought was the v3, and I think I like it the best. I picked up the v1 and v2 because I found them for a ridiculously good price.
Here’s the most recent pic of my EHX stuff, though there has been a few changes. I’ve since added the 2 vintage Small Stones, a Bad Stone, a vintage Freq Analyzer, a vintage BlackFinger, a BassBalls, and a 16sec DD foot controller. I sold the Crying Tone Wah because I still have the Muff Fuzz Crying Tone Wah.

Unfortunatly I don’t own a DEM, but going on the sound I’d say it was run after the big muff to get that classic jet plane sound…
here’s the clip if anyone else has any ideas on settings.

Great song! but I’m not even going to pretend that I can hear anything in the way of settings based on that track. It sounds like rawrwhoorrawreeerawrwhoorawreeooo!
