This question has been asked before, though in relation to the 2880.

It would be amazing if EHX designed a simple box that allowed the Clockworks or the 8 Step to trigger footcontroller functions for the 16SDD, the 2880, and the HOG !
Or reissue the Super Replay and expand its features to include:
– reverse playback
– storage of multiple samples
– midi recall of samples
– sliders to set the start and stop points of the sample similar to the Harvestman Tyme Sefari or the Akai S612Fender&EHX4everModeratorMine arrived today. Electro-Harmonix has just raised the bar and changed the game again. This sets a new standard for guitar synthesis.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorJust saw that listing
I am totally amp’d about these drum reissues. I will definitely be purchasing these as soon as I can, despite having the originals. I love the updates they have added!
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Hello! I have an 8-step Program I control via MIDI. It only has 10 presets available as far as I can tell though. If you connect the other 8-step foot controller (which I don’t have) apparently you the get 100 presets. Currently recalling anything more than 10 via MIDI doesn’t seem to work.If I buy the controller will it then enable me to recall all 100 via MIDI when connected? Or does MIDI still only support 10 regardless of the remote footswitch?
If that does enable all 100 via MIDI is there any way I can access 100 presets via MIDI without the additional foot controller connected? Not only do I not really need the extra buttons cuz I control via MIDI, but my pedal board is already rammed and short of space so I don’t really want more stuff on it that I don’t really “need”.
Thanks!
According to the manual we should be able to load any of the 100 presets by MIDI CC 118, or by MIDI PC messages. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I’m counting on this working eventually.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorThe 12AY7 also plays beautifully with a Cloudlifter Z and ribbon mics and dynamic mics. I use these for voice and drums.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorVery cool!!!
The Micro Synthesizer V3 was my first ever Electro-Harmonix pedal. I can still remember the pure joy I felt when I played through it for the first time.

visit ? do you mean want to get rid of some extra EH units of yours and drop it here ?I would be quite surprised if I had any EH units that you don’t already have in your collection.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorAny chance of video demonstrations?
Or can I just visit you and hear them in person ? 😆Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:Hi all, first post.Looking to get a vintage small stone v3. I have been spending some time reading up on them and from what I understand (and what I heard in many demos) the v3 version is the most desired one. However, there seem to be some v3 cases with v2 boards so it’s kind of confusing. I have found a bunch reasonably priced (around $100) on many used online sites and have asked a lot of sellers to send me pics of the boards. I’m surprised by how many look (and are advertised as such) like v3’s but the board it the same as the v2.
My primary info is the pedal area site (http://www.pedalarea.com/small_stone.htm) and I have figured out that early on many v3 cases still had v2 boards as was confirmed by other posts (on here also) with the same issue.
So I just want to confirm that the v3 board with the dual OTAs is the “holy grail” of the small stones.
I have a V1, a V2, and a V3. The V3 is definitely my favorite of them.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:I’m looking for the “holy grail” version of the electric mistress. I’m still having a bit of hard time understanding the difference between them. Also, after that aspect, in each respective category (em vs. emdlx) which is the “preferred” version? Purely sonically speaking.
Is it just the first one? V2 electric mistress V1 deluxe?
Thanks
There are so many different versions that it isn’t likely to meet someone who has extensive experience with all of them http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mistress/index.shtml
I personally own the following versions:
http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mistress/electric-mistress-v2.shtml
http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mistress/electric-mistress-v6.shtml
http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mistress/deluxe-electric-mistress-v3.shtmlOf these I have a particular fondness for v6, the 9volt version because it sort of combines the best aspects of the other 2 – battery operated, compact, strong effect signal, lower noise, etc.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI would recommend recording a video demonstration of what it is you are doing with the original 16SecDD. Sometimes text just doesn’t do justice.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorSo the reissue 16secDD can’t do it? The foot controller has a reverse switch.
What about the new 22500?Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:No, I don’t think she normally repairs pedals. I asked her that same question via freestompboxes.org, where there are several posts regarding the pedals she created, including schematics, and I think she was initially reluctant, but agreed to look at them after a few emails. You can ask her, but your mileage may vary. If not, the EH man might be able to recommend someone.EHX – (Super) Space Drum (Percussion Effect) [schematic]
http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11251Thanks!
Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:I emailed Julia about the Space Drum and Sequencer – both have minor issues – and she is repairing them for me. Saves me the increased odds of wrecking collectible gear if I were to do it myself.Does Julia offer a repair service for her EHX designs, or is this just a one-off? I have a Sequencer Drum and a Space Drum that I would love to have worked on.
Thanks!
