I’m pretty sure the loose wire should be soldered where marked in the pic:

Fender&EHX4everModeratorYou’re in luck. I had a pic of it in my flickr from an old eBay sale.

Using the Track Select button, you choose which track you want to record over. As long as your not on Track 1, you won’t risk recording over it.
Are you using the New Loop button between each track? That would be the problem.

If EHX start designing everything for 9v, then all of our outdated 12v, 18v, and 24v wall-wart units will eventually benefit from the “rare/discontinued/hard-to-find/they-don’t-make-em-like-they-used-to” status.

I’d hate to compromise everything for the sake of convenience and portability. If we did, then we’d all be eating McDonalds and shopping at Wal-Mart for everything.

Find some really cheap surge protectors from the local thrift store, surplus store, Big Lots, wherever – and you have an affordable solution for your EHX power supply woes.Fender&EHX4everModeratorQuote:My prayers have been answered:Nice EHX knows who has been naughty or nice.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorSounds like it needs a trimpot alignment.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorI’ve never tried the Metal Muff. But I reckon it’s miles apart, as far as distortions go.
Fender&EHX4everModeratorPersonally, I think it excels more at dark vintage distortion tones and overdriven tones. It does a great mid-rangey Mick Ronson saxophone style distortion – very vocal. The trebles are not crisp, which I usually think of when I hear someone say “high gain.”
Fender&EHX4everModeratorLast week I electrocuted myself on my dirt road special because it’s 2 prong, and it’s picky about which direction it’s plugged in. My hand was tingly for a few minutes, and my heart was racing.
