    Gotta agree with you there. The newer stuff is getting better, if they’ll just focus on exact reissues and quit worrying about selling EVH and Zakk Wylde garbage. Also, it would be nice to see a true fuzz that doesn’t have Jimi Hendrix’s name all over it.

    Man…EHX dudes are just as vicious and whiny as mandolin players.

    Vicious? Nah. I think that we’re being quite civil. It’s the internet, so sometimes the tone in which we’re speaking doesn’t come through all the way. I’ve taken a playful smart alec voice through most of the thread.

    And as for the MXR stuff- I agree with that. All the signature stuff is just so lame.

    I know a mandolin player and I’ll assure you, I’m nothing like that guy. I really can’t stand him.

    lol Mandolin players? The only “Signature” EHX pedal i’m aware of is a relabled 90’s style big muff called the Mogwai named for the scottish post-rock band.

    I just checked out the octa switch. IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!! XD but it cant shuffle the order of items in the chain :( which would make it kinda hard to integrate my shuffler into it… What if they made an amputee octa switch with four loops? lol At first when you were mentioning the octa switch i was thinking of Voodoo Labs’ switcher… which looks to be a backward assed version of the octa switch.

    There actually is a method to it, but it’s so complicated I don’t think I could explain it.

    And I just realized that I have 10 pedals in the OctaSwitch :doh: I would have to combine 2 pedals into the loops with other pedals. I don’t think I’ll ever realize this setup.

    Why the octa switch?

    MXR just isn’t cuttin’ it anymore. Even their dyna comp colors your tone with a little more high end when you use it. But as Dr. Matt said. their stuff is way over priced for what it is.
