Cooking lasagna and watching Charlie Rose. Just took my dog for a walk.
What is this, EHX twitter now?
fantomenosMemberMad ape has them listed at $209.25, versus $149 for freq analyzer, so julian has it right.
fantomenosMemberQuote:+ one for Tone Wicker.Other recommendation I’d have would be to check out some of Catalinbread’s offerings. Especially the SFT. I’ve been GASSING for one of those for awhile.
Truth. Got the SFT for X-mas, it’s everything it’s cracked up to be, and has been a mainstay on my board ever since.
For bass, the best sound I’ve gotten is turning both the treble and bass all the way down, and you get really punchy mids, with the gain at about noon.
fantomenosMemberI guess I’m a Fender fan. Got a P-bass. Gassing for a Jazzmaster.
fantomenosMemberQuote:Right now i use a roland cube 30x (yes it’s a modeling amp) but it’s great. But i’d love a orange ad30 or a rockerverb. Maybe an ac30.ac30 is sweet, I’d love one. I just got the ac4tv for my b-day, and it sounds really great. 4 watts of mind-blowing tube power! :metal:
fantomenosMemberQuote:I think it would sound great on voice ??Sure, there’s a great tradition of using ring mods on voice:
EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!!!
fantomenosMemberQuote:My list is as suchRoland Space Echo Re-201 (Analog Tape Delay)
Deluxe Memory Man (I own the Memory Boy – nice pedal!)
Holy Grail Plus
PulsarStill not sure about a good Chorus Pedal or Wah Pedal. Anyone have any recommendations?
Love the re-201, never used it live, but whenever I practice I end up messing around with it a bunch.
As far as chorus pedals go, I love my Clone Theory!
fantomenosMemberI saw the title and thought he was interested in a trade! :nono:
fantomenosMemberQuote:nice! i got a flanger hoax for Christmas last year and i still dont know how to use it :worried:Yeah, it’s a tricky one. I found some settings people had posted on Harmony Central which were helpful. I’ve been messing with the knobs all afternoon. I need to get fixing dinner before my wife totally regrets buying me this thing…
fantomenosMemberFlanger Hoax which is rad!
Oh, and some cookbooks and the Sinatra “New York” boxed set, which is also totally sweet.
But hey, Flanger Hoax!
fantomenosMemberI played the vox at a music store through a marshall 4X12 and it sounded amazing. Never played the Orange, but the clerk at the store (who I trust and have had many chats with) said he preferred the Night Train on account of the bigger transformers.
fantomenosMemberQuote:Quote:Lately I’ve been listening to a killer stoner rock band called “Witch”, whose drummer is none other than J Mascis, of Dinosaur Jr. The guitar playing in Witch is awesome, but I can’t imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to try to come up with riffs while J Mascis is sitting behind the kit.I can’t believe I’ve not heard of this. I love how J. plays drums. I partially taught myself drums by trying to emulate Dino Jr’s ‘Green Mind’, he was the drummer for most of that disc.
Seriously, check Witch out. They’ve got 2 albums, and they’re both killer!
fantomenosMemberMike Patton is a great example.

fantomenosMemberLove that band, seen them a bunch of times, always mind-blowing. Thanks for posting the link!
As far as pedals, I couldn’t see what the keyboardist was twiddling, but I clearly saw a Holy Grail and a Line 6 DL4.
