does anyone know if the XO reissue accepts standard Boss-style power supplies? it looks like it says “9V center negative”, but is the barrel the same? if i can run this pedal off of my DC Brick, i’ll be ecstatic!
eyescicleMemberQuote:Tasteful use of all 70 in a set? I’m impressed.well…that’s certainly up for interpretation. i’m pretty pleased with it all, though. i like your stuff as well. it’s got a kind of punk-meets-shoegaze-meets NYC disaffected indie sound that’s a lot of fun. cheers!

i got all warm and fuzzy! thanks!
eyescicleMembergive or take. i and the other main guitar player each have 20ish (it fluctuates!), bass player–i think–has 6, and the other instrumentalist (who handles guitar, electric piano, lap steel, and theremin) has a solid 30. i don’t know if i’ve ever sat down and counted. but, everything gets used within the course of a set, and i’d say it’s all pretty tasteful.
eyescicleMembermy pedalboard has over twenty things on it (including a vintage DMM, Micro POG, and Small Stone). i also have a Small Clone, Nano Stone, Holy Grail, Holier Grail, and and Bassballs with my eyes set on an XO Graphic Fuzz, XO Frequency Analyzer, and VoiceBox.

and my band, collectively, has over 70 pedals in use live (including my stuff as well as a vintage Triangle Big Muff Pi, 2 PolyChoruses, XO Worm, Nano Stone, Nano Bassballs, original Bass Microsynth, HOG with preset controller, Wiggler, and others i’m sure).

i think there’s also an LPB-1, Nano Muff, 3 Russian-issue Big Muff Pi’s (one of them circuit bent), and a few other random EHX pedals in storage somewhere.
i think we all qualify as “pedal people”.
