Wow! Thanks for the very informative response. I’ll see if the 1spot works in my chain for the MM, but I will probably take your advice and just stick to what I have and leave the 1spot to powering lesser pedals.
I know this is an old post, but I just wanted to say – I had the same problem. The little plastic nub that moves the potentiometer broke off after a single use.
After unsuccessfully trying to glue it back on, fruitlessly using the HOG without the pedal, and frustratingly looking for a new expression pedal that wouldn’t cost me ANOTHER hundred dollars, I actually tore open the M-Audio and fixed it myself.
I drilled a small hole into the pedal’s ‘arm’ and then inserted a small screw which takes the nub’s place. It was an easy fix, and now the pedal is 100% again.
I just thought someone out there might find this info useful.
