Sorry to dredge up this older post, but I still am on my quest for an EH Fuzz-Wah for my friend.

There is currently a muff-fuzz on ebay so I’m wondering, does anyone know the circuit/sound differences that exist between the muff fuzz and the fuzz-wah (you can see the links to the pedals earlier in the thread thanks to discofreq)?

I can tell from Discofreq’s nice photos that the controls are the same.

    Thank you pedal gurus

and PS thank you Fender&EHX4ever;for the demo of the muff fuzz!

Thank you! I did notice that your search found it in the completed auctions.

Still a mystery to me why “electro fuzz wah” doesn’t find it! grr!

But thanks again, I’ll use your search

Thanks, but I am very ignorant of pedals, so that relative rarity comparison is meaningless to dumb me :)

I guess the answer is the obvious one–if I can’t find it anywhere it is probably not around much.

Anyway, if anyone knows of one for sale, I wouldn’t mind hearing about.

Thanks for the replies, and your cool EH sites in your sigs

EDIT: oh thanks for the ebay link. Apparently I am doing something wrong :)

EDIT 2: so weird. I search completed auctions for “electro fuzz wah” and that one doesn’t come up even though it has those words in the title.

I always thought she meant the first one (the plain “Fuzz Wah”) because that’s what she called it.

But my ebay search is just “fuzz wah” so I should have seen anything remotely similar come up–but nothing.

So can anyone tell me, are these EH Fuzz Wahs exceedingly rare to where I can’t even find one for sale on the whole internet tube highway after a year of looking? Or am I doing it wrong?

    Thanks!
