I’m no expert, and I have the old style (80’s?) Pulsar, so my settings would be different from the new version. I would say keep the intensity fairly low, definitely have the mode switch set to triangle, and the shape at 12 o’clock. I would experiment with the speed in the 9-12 o’clock range.

I did much the same with my Bad Stone and deluxe EM, then sometimes followed by an overdrive pedal on moderate settings – got some great sounds. The EM died years ago, and I lost the BS when I moved – I do miss them, and thinking of buyng a new Dlx Em.
