fx pedals sound cleaner (specially with drive ) in fx loop, so I put them in fx loop.
in line, pedals sound more vintage, but ehx pedals are already vintage!only my Mini Q tron is in line because it’s a filter effect

erratomMemberI’m Sigur Ros fan so I love your “Pretty Music”
erratomMemberno I plug a mono jack into the Line6 Ex-1
I’ve received this message from Ehx contact :
There are a number of compatible expression pedals out there, there are two important points to
remember when buying an expression pedal:1. It must be compatible with the Roland style polarity, not Yamaha. Most
expression not made by either of these companies will have a switch, the
change polarity. Underneath the M-Audio pedal you may have noticed there
is a polarity switch labelled “M-Audio” and “Other”. For the HOG this
should be set to M-Audio.2. The expression pedal needs to have a TRS connection. This fact rules
out volume pedals. The pot inside the expression pedal has three
connections, a top, bottom and wiper. The bottom is connected to the
plug’s Sleeve, the top is connected to the plug’s Ring and the wiper is
connected to the TIP.Here is a list of compatible expression pedals for use with the HOG or any
other EH pedal. The list starts with my guess of the sturdiest at the top
and least sturdy at the bottom:Boss FV-500L
Alesis F2
Roland EV7
Moog Music EP2
Roland EV5
