You can spay the switch inside and on top with deoxit switch cleaner and fix that. They get dirty or corroded over time.

Its startling to hear a big reverb and have it gone in an instant.Duck is used to keep the reverb down while you play so the focus is on the guitar and not the reverb. when you stop or hold the reverb come in.
its used a lot with vocals in the studio. Keeps the reverb from getting in the way of the vocal.EHX STAFFKeymasterThat is a ground loop!

I looked at your signal and you can clearly see it clipping.
It also seems you are playing very hard.
