What year pedal?
Hi Seb
A better option for you would be the Bass9 pedal.
The octave multiplex is whats called a flip flop circuit. Its a very early analog form of producing an octave down.
They are glitchy and some what unstable. Neck pick up is best.

It is defective! Please exchange for a new one or contact the techs at info@ehx.com.
Yes your supply does not have isolated outputs and noise is leaking into the input.
Use its own supply or find a supply with REAL isolated outputs.

You NEED a proper supply for 220v with at least 150ma
Dont even think of plugging a 110v supply into 200v
Contact info@ehx.com for where to order a supply

Yes that is normal and will be fixed in the future.
For now we suggest an A/B box if you need it to turn off.
