It sounds like pickup hum from your guitar.
If you turn your guitar volume knob down all the way is the hum there?
If not its just hum from your guitar.
It will change if you move your guitar.
The distortion in the Talking Pedal is a fuzz.
Like ANY fuzz it will pick up any noise around your guitar.

I can pick up all of the ‘component pieces’ (Pocket Metal Muff, Neo Clone, Memory Toy) for approx £140. Swapping for a Micro MM its £150, and just £172 for the full all singing all dancing MM with top boost.
Except for a noise gate, I’m not sure what the advantages are. It seems I’m paying slightly more for less flexibility???
Usually when I buy a 6 pack of Coke, it costs substantially less than 6 individual cans.
