EHX STAFFKeymaster
info at ehx dot com
Hope that helps.
Not sure why I can not post a link to our own company!!!!!!!!!!EHX STAFFKeymasterI would not open it as its very easy to short out the high voltage capacitors and kill the unit.
I would contact service at info@ehx.com
First remove it from the chain and go straight into the amp to make sure its the unit.
ALSO make sure the tube eq is plugged into the same ac outlet the amp is.
It could be a ground loop.EHX STAFFKeymasterSomething is wrong! Make sure your guitar is plugged in on battery or it will not light up.
Please return the pedal for an exchange or contact service at info@ehx.comEHX STAFFKeymasterYes EHX will be there.
EHX STAFFKeymasterFor a lead sound the EHXtortion is great by its self!
EHX STAFFKeymasterYes in front is best. Compressor after or before. I like it after the Mel9.
in the end its what works best for you.
BillEHX STAFFKeymasterWell it should be about the same with the effect knob up.
If you need more gain a boost or compressor after the mel9 should work fine.EHX STAFFKeymasterPlease contact the techs at the address above.
EHX STAFFKeymasterI dont think so but I will ask.
They were just in AustinQuote:Just wondering of EHX is going to be at the Dallas Guitar Show at the end of this month so I can check out the MEL9 live and in person before I take the plunge. Thanks~!EHX STAFFKeymasterGreat Andy!
Good luck,i hope you get on with it well and do cool things!
Bill RuppertEHX STAFFKeymasterSo Glad you dig it!
BillQuote:Mine arrived today. Electro-Harmonix has just raised the bar and changed the game again. This sets a new standard for guitar synthesis.EHX STAFFKeymasterWell quick fix if you are splitting like that.
A simple a/b box.
Take the direct to one amp. Then feed the Wet sound to an A/B box and turn the mel9 on and off with that.
In other words you leave the Mel9 on all the time and use the A/B to turn the effect on and off.Quote:I spent about 4 hours today with the Mel9. I need keyboard technique in the place of guitar technique. At this point there is one thing I really don’t like about the Mel9. The dry output is always there if split. If I run the Mel9 dry out to one amp and effect out to another amp, the dry is going to the effect amp also. Cutting the vol on the dry to zero still sends the dry out. Running the single effect out you can cut the dry out with the vol control. This pedal will have to be within hand reach and not on the floor. I can see constant adjustments being made.EHX STAFFKeymasteryes it is what ever works for you!
I like it in front of the amp..EHX STAFFKeymasterGreat
Dont forget to try the blend of your real instrument with the Melvin!EHX STAFFKeymasterYes contact service at info@ehx.com
