Check your adapter first!Service can be reached here:
info@ehx.comIts a GREAT pedal get it fixed!
EHX STAFFKeymasterHi A+E
Your best best is check if a store by you has any compressor pedals you can try with it.
That way you will not have to order one on a whim.
I wish I was there with you squeeze box to see what was going on.If a compressor pedal works THEN Bobs your Uncle and then you can pick the best one for the job.
We make a bunch of compressor pedals.Quote:That sounds quite positive – does ECX produce a suitable pedal or would you recommend one for me?I have a Mel9 on order for the guitar, I imagine if I get that to work with a pedal then the C9 (B9, Key9) would also follow….?
Thanks for the information,
A+E
EHX STAFFKeymasterYes it does the envelope of the melodica is not sharp like the percussive attack of the guitar.
First I would push it with more gain OR try a compressor pedal which will bring up the soft attack and give it a pop.
Also make sure you are in the range of the guitar.
If you have multiple reeds out of tune as in a chorus effect of an accordion that could drive the unit crazy as well.EHX STAFFKeymasterHow did it not work?
EHX STAFFKeymasterSorry I know nothing about the trex supply.
You may need to check with them. If its a multi out put make sure each out is isolated.
To prevent ground loops and noise we like using our own dedicated supply shipped with the unit.EHX STAFFKeymasterThe Worm uses a 24VDC/100mA AC Adapter, like this: http://www.amazon.com/Electro-Harmonix-US24DC-100-24V-Power-Supply/dp/B0042RHT4M
The original big box Worm came out around 2001.
EHX STAFFKeymasterLet me send you another message tonight or better yet reach me on the Kemper forum in private message. we can then exchange emails.
Sorry for your problem.
BillI will be out for a little bit tonight.
EHX STAFFKeymasterQuote:After eagerly awaiting the Mel9, it arrived yesterday. I am in need of advice. It sounds nothing like the demos online nor the descriptions of the sounds! For example; the cello sounds really like a poor simulation whereas the videos I’ve heard sound great. The flute, sax, and brass all sound like similar poor cello simulations, nothing like their titles. I’ve tried this through 2 different amps (Kemper Profiling/Roland), studio monitors, electric and acoustic guitars (PRS/Taylor), tried tweaking the knobs… nothing helps. I don’t get it.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated before I send it back for a refund.
I wrote you through youtube yesterday and sent you a bunch of demos on youtube showing how it sounds through other peoples systems.
It sounds just like the demo.
Maybe the unit is not right for you in which case you should return it.
I also sent you a link to write me direct. Did you get the message?EHX STAFFKeymasterI have a Super Replay here and I love it!
Would be cool, but the market will drive if it gets done.
Great idea, thanks!
Bill RuppertEHX STAFFKeymasterSorry
The Foot Controller input on the RI 16SDD communicates via serial data, not control voltages, therefore it is not possible for a CV signal to trigger the 16SDD in any way.EHX STAFFKeymasterSo not now.
Mike is not into plugins. SorryApril 14, 2016 at 5:55 pm in reply to: does EHX KEY9 Electric Piano Machine works with apogee jam for connection to daws in mac computers? #121427EHX STAFFKeymasterIt is 1/4 mono in and 1/4 out.
No usb.
plug it into any audio input you have.EHX STAFFKeymasterBest to write the techs at info@ehx.com
EHX STAFFKeymasterNo Its designed for the range and sound of the guitar.
