EHX STAFFKeymaster
There may be a problem with the pedal as I have one in front of me and there is no drop at in volume at all.
There are no trim pots inside to adjust volume.
Please contact service at info@ehx.comEHX STAFFKeymasterTHAT is a hard one to do. That style SAX is near impossible using effects alone.
Blending in the Mel9 sax sound could with a distorted guitar could work…EHX STAFFKeymasterGuys that sounds like bad memory…
I have one in front of me and it does not do what you say.
PLEASE write service here is the link to our customer service email:Sorry for this trouble.
I have sent this off to the head engineer at EHX to see.EHX STAFFKeymasterAh sorry you are right! The only one that does it smooth with out steps is the loop mode on the Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai.
I have used that effect many times in the Effectology videos.EHX STAFFKeymasterThanks Andy
Some times the third party power supplies ramp up in voltage slowly. The Mel 9 like to see the voltage at full value you or it may stall.
This means replugging the 1/4 inch connector re boots the Mel9.
Just a guess that is what happened??? As you know if you cant repeat it your sunk and far as figuring it out.
Good luck and lets hope all stays well!!EHX STAFFKeymasterHi Greg
Its code and no user way to do that.
The 4500 looper does what you want.EHX STAFFKeymasterSorry! best to write the techs at info@ehx.com
EHX STAFFKeymasterYes dry to your effects and amp and effect goes to on/off switcher goes to the PA.
You always will have the guitar on but an on/off for the Mel9
I like your volume pedal as well you can fade the Mel in and out of the mix!EHX STAFFKeymasterGreat!
Letting rest does nothing there is nothing to reset..
There may have been a problem somewhere else in the chain.
Are you using a daisy chain power supply?EHX STAFFKeymasterThat is the way it is.
I know what you want. The best way is with a simple switcher like the switch blade.
Take the direct out to your pedal board and the mel 9 to the A/B switcher. Leave the Mel9 on all the time and switch it on and off with the a/b switch.
Right now that is the only way to do what you want.EHX STAFFKeymasterI found this on the web
EHX STAFFKeymasterNo I have no idea. Wish I was at your set up.
There should be no need for an eq. you will distort the input by over driving the pedal.
Dont forget the sound starts to fade at the 15th fret on this sound.
I will make an iPhone video latter to show you they all sound the same attack wise.
I cant see how only one sound would be defective…EHX STAFFKeymasterI used nothing in front of he Mel9.
The attack of the brass is the same as all the other sounds.
Perhaps you are not setting the knobs correctly. The knobs are different for the brass sound than all the other sounds.
In the brass setting the attack control changes the speed of a filter swell. At counterclockwise or zero it is off and the attack will be just like the other sounds.
To have the same feel as the other sounds keep it at zero.
If it is turned up the attack will be different. Please try this
