Can one of those dealers PLEASE post a scan of this?
It seems there’s more info than just model names…
DiscoFreqParticipantGrrrr, the dealers are always first :p
Hmmm… July? *meaningful grin*
DiscoFreqParticipantThanks!
Yes, EH-man’s list says “circa 1981” for that pcb number:

(there’s even a “normal” big muff with this PCB)The color is still special, I don’t think all models with that PCB have this color, then I would probably have seen it before
DiscoFreqParticipantQuote:I wonder why mine looks so different. Does anybody else have any information?A lot of the old pedals exist in different colors, I don’t know if they were tests, accidents, special requests,… but except for the paint it’s the same pedal.
DiscoFreqParticipantI don’t have any real information about it, but it usually looks like this:
So a bigger picture of your pedal would be great, then I can add it to my page:

http://vintageehpedal.web.fc2.com/page2.htmlI didn’t know this site, interesting
DiscoFreqParticipantI don’t know when those were made, but there are other types of lettering:
http://filters.muziq.be/model/eh/lpb1DiscoFreqParticipantThey also have them for D-shafts:
http://www.banzaieffects.com/Electro-Harmonix-Knob-D-axis-pr-17452.htmlI should buy some, I recently bought a Crying Tone pedal and some knobs are missing and the pot shafts are sticking through the others so I better replace those as well
DiscoFreqParticipantQuote:although I want to know about the food tooI don’t know that either, spicy?
DiscoFreqParticipantGreat! I wish my boss did that too
DiscoFreqParticipantQuote:IIRC, EHX made them in both configurations so you could choose if you wanted to plug it into your guitar, or plug it into your amp. I’ve seen a version where both ends were female. I’ve thought about converting mine to that configuration. Seems like it would be more practical that way.A few minutes ago I received a letter, brochures and 4 order forms for dealers from 1972.
The order form has separate lines for the “amp plug-in” and the “inst plug-in” versions:
Code:LPB-1 amp plug-in Power Booster $ 8,00
LPB-1 inst plug-in Power Booster 8,00
MOLE amp plug-in Bass Booster 12,00
BIRD amp plug-in Treble Booster 11,00
BIRD inst plug-in Treble Booster 11,00
EGO amp plug-in Microphone Booster 10,00
MUFF amp plug-in Fuzz-Sustain 11,50
MUFF inst plug-in Fuzz-Sustain 11,50…
