DimiPanaParticipant
I agree, hopefully reverb will be receptive and supportive when I tell them all this and I’ll get my money back. I’ll keep you posted even though I understand there is not much EHX can do in a situation like this.

I have added the picture of the sellers address from Google maps, he’s definitely not running a store, check it out.
DimiPanaParticipantMany thanks to all who have responded so far!
Indeed the pedal looks worn from repeated use, the seller claims they are an EHX dealer but I checked online and they don’t come up under “Dealer Locator” on the website, and although they claim the warranty is guaranteed I doubt this is true for a used product.
I did send a message to EHX customer support asking if this is an authorized dealer, the full address is:
Eclectic Sounds
8805 N Delaware Ave
Portland, OR 97217-6907Funny thing is, if you look up this address on Google (and look the actual picture) it is not a store it’s just a plain home in a residential area. So, for all I know, I might be dealing with someone selling used equipment from his mama’s basement.
As far as the YouTube video with the different settings, thanks for finding this, it shows exactly what I said: With the gain knob past halfway the unit on YT starts distorting gracefully with a pleasant sound all the way to 100%.
Mine starts distorting too much after 60% and is basically unusable if you turn it all the way up.
DimiPanaParticipantYes this is the actual unit I purchased.
It’s hard to tell from the photos, in my opinion the pedal, being manufactured back in 2021 was a used item they just decided to sell it as “mint” and they even advertised it as a “new unit”, which is definitely not.
I have nothing to compare this unit to, but with the gain turned up more than 50-60% it becomes unusable. I’m hoping more people will chime in and let me know of their experience.
My main concern right now is if EHX will honor the warranty IF I need to send the pedal in for inspections/repair, given that it is clearly a second hand unit.
Thanks for your feedback!
DimiPanaParticipantBtw, here’s some pictures:

Does this look “mint” and a “new unit” to you? Also what can you tell me from the serial numer (202110098283). This is definitely NOT a “new unit”.
Also, do you think EHX will honor the warranty if the product was not purchased new?!
Thanks!
DimiPanaParticipantThat’s exactly what I thought when I first saw it, but wanted the opinion of the community and some more experienced than me people. Thank you so very much!
