That’s what I expected. The problem is that I cannot turn the volume any lower, it is already at 0.2

What about the impedance of the Signal Pad? Is it going to work on the FX loop of a tube amp?

Yep I saw products like the one you refer to (http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/product_info.php?products_id=385) I was looking for a cheaper solution.

Are you sure that it will alter the tone badly?
