I am asking the same question, though I have tried both, but cannot decide. I am on a Ashdown Evo III 500, so the effects loop goes after the preamp and equalizer, I think.
Now THIS is a pedalboard! My bass amp and speakers (Ashdown Evo III 4×10 and 1×15) weigh a ton, why shouldn’t my pedalboard? Made by my sons.
