Thanks for the response. It’s not that the unit doesn’t sound good; I’ve been able to dial in some settings that leave my speakers dripping with nasty funk. My main concern is that the overload LED is pretty much always on, even when using a passive bass and setting the pedal’s sensitivity and q controls pretty low. Is this normal? I realize there are reasons beyond trim pot tweaking that may contribute to a constant overload, but the factory-calibrated trim pot has a little nick that could be attributed to someone attempting to make adjustments without the proper tools or know-how. Of course I could be entirely off base, and I don’t want to send the pedal in or make any of my own adjustments without knowing if the previous owner even messed with trim pots in the first place.
I’d really appreciate it if someone would post a picture, diagram, etc. showing the factory trim pot settings. Assuming these settings don’t differ from pedal to pedal, some sort of visual aid will give me a better idea of whether or not my trim pots were tampered with by the previous owner, and if I should even bother sending it in to have it re-calibrated.
Thanks
