Do you have your pedal powered on a daisychain? It happens that when one of the other daisychainplugs touches something metal (like another pedal), the SMMWH looses its power for one brief moment and erases the loop. Maybe this happened when you stepped on the pedal?

I really like the chorus effect, I don’t like flanger. But sometimes I just dont ‘hear’ the effect.

Well I’m glad to hear it sounds as a small clone should.
The polychorus is too big and too expensive for me. What do you guy think of the Boss CE-5?

It’s possible there’s a bad solder joint on the circuit board somewhere that’s keeping the chorused signal from reaching the output. I’d turn the rate and color up so it’s noticeable then tap around on the board w/ a stick or Sharpie (w/ the cap on) and see if it cuts out.

Isn’t it possible that this is a thing that’s normal for Small Clones?

I have the pedal daisychained with other pedals. I tried it out alone on the one spot and the same problem. Also with another adaptor.

who cares when it “begins”??? it’s an EMPTY LOOP!! you can start anytime you hit overdub! as long as you know your chords can be finished in that time and tempo you CANNOT go wrong!

Yeah but then still it is possible (and very probably) That after you played (for instance) a few chords, there is a period of nothing (it finishes the 60sec.) before the chords begin again.

    in loop mode:
hit loop button, record an EMPTY LOOP (turn your guitar volume down) count off 20 beats at 60bpm.

    release recording button.

turn the knob down to half speed

you now have 40secs of looptime

    overdub on that

you can do 60secs of loop time if you count to 30 at 60bpm

MAKE SURE YOUR GUITAR VOLUME IS ALL THE WAY DOWN WHEN YOU DO THE EMPTY LOOP.

Yeah that’s true but if your guitarvolume is down you can’t hear the loop so you don’t exactly know when it starts and also you can’t have a loop of for intance 53 sec. beacause of the loop already being 60 sec.

So what about making a poll about this issue and trying to seek ehx’s attention in such a way?
