i have to say i don’t have any experience with the H-C forum… this is the second forum of my life, on the first one (our czech music forum… one of the biggest) i’m one of moderators with almost 8000 posts (ive been there for i think… well three and a half years) and to be honest the relax forum for me is the EHX forum because… um… people here have some brains, experience and they are really nice :love:
on your forum it’s the same old questions all over again… and it’s the total opposite to the H-C as i can see… it’s still “what guitar should i buy, i play metal and it has to be super-cheap because that’s just the way it is” again and again… and alot of people is really feisty… and the experienced musicians either help (not a lot of them, trust me), don’t write (most of them) or they just mock people or they show off
so i think i get you with your relaxing idea… yep, you’re right, melx

yeah, they’re this post-rock band from scotland… really awesome music and they are one of the superstars of the gendre (if you can use a word superstar talking about underground music styles

i was just trying to say that with the gilmour muff you wouldn’t really get Dave’s sound… because of the stacking
by the way… i want that Mogwai muff… i love’em… it’s just that they are super-rare (i’ve never seen one anywhere)
that sounds like a nice idea, but… they’d have to make a muff with the OD in one box because Gilmour frequently stacked them… can you imagine how weird would it be?
isn’t it better to just buy for example a Civil war muff and then some decent OD?

you guys got some badass guitars… damn i should take a deep breath, stop thinkin’ about pedals, find myself a part-time job and make myself some money for the deluxe mexican strat i want…
at least i don’t spent all the money for my pedals… i bought me and my girlfriend tickets for the Australian Pink Floyd, we’re gonna see them for the second time, they are awesome…
when i get some new guitar, you’re gonna know it… well, soon

presets for distortion, EQ etc seems really redundant to me… but yeah, i agree that it’d be nice to have a fuzz footswitch on graphic eq
