9′ are very comfortable, but they are too floppy sometimes, according to my experiences they go out of tune easily and have a little bit of a problem to intonate right when you hit’em hardI really don’t like D’daddarios, through the years i tried alot of strings including DRs, D’addarios, GHS, Arkays and Dean Markleys… for the last year or so i’m faithful to those GHS Dave Gilmour sets
they seem just right for meanyway… i play .010s on electric and .011 on acoustic… on electric i usually tune to drop D, acouctic is usually standart, sometimes DADGAD, so i don’t need to figure out odd sets of strings… fortunately
i can’t really imagine that i’d have to really figure out what gauges are the best for me – it’s enough for me when i have to figure out placing of pedals in effects chain when it comes to accesories – i like to keep it simplei also use DADGAD but “use” is more like “tune my acoustic like that when i want to improvise and just get silly a little” here
seriously – i love this tuning. i’m a big fan of drop D, so i feel comfortable in it and DADGAD is very funny to improvise in – it’s really not hard to come up with something that sounds awesome and “fresh” to you. But when it comes to a proper songwriting – nothing better than good ol’ drop D (or standart… but… meh…)
and open Dm is also interesting
although i don’t use it that much, it’s coolnice ones!
well i usually open up everything i can too… i don’t know why i didn’t do it with the tele…and when i can’t open it up, i’m usually pissed… like with my Visual Sound Jekyll&Hyde;V1…

i spent it with my girlfriend… it was very nice, calm evening… i love her so much
i admit – when my friend called me, drunk and a little stoned… yeah, i was a bit sad i didn’t go to the party, but hey… i’m not a big party-guy anyway
and the evening was good even if i was almost sober I!ve got a question… can anyone compare it with flanger emulated by SMMH on Mod-delay mode with delay on 0? because SMMH emulates best flanger i ever heard and in last few months i start to wonder that the hoax is probably too crazy for me etc…
anyone? because the SEM is fairly priced, fairly sized and really affordable for me
in january, my friend is gonna build me Dan Armstrong green ringer clone… we’ll see if I can use it, if not… i’l sell it…
