nice clips! i know about the ABSynth, but from demos i heard it sounds to me as a no-mids fuzz. And i’m a bit afraid of getting lost in the mix (happened with the Sovtek Big Muff)… otherwise it sounds great and the price is very good
after all these months with my Moon Face, i purchased a crybaby and put it before the fuzz, mainly because of the lack of other options… but then i discovered the vintage-like-fuzz versus the crybaby madness and i wouldn’t move it anywhere else
anyway, why i’m posting… a friend of mine is actually working on a Fuzz Factory clone – i wanted to try some more “synth-like” fuzz, something really crazy. so there are two possible scenarios right now –
a) i’ll keep both and use the moon face with lower “fuzz settings” stacked with Catalinbread DLS
b) the fuzz factory will totally replace the moon face and i’ll use the money to get some new pedal… the Holy Grail
i’m actually really looking forward to try the fuzz factory for a reasonable price… if i like it, i’ll keep it, if i don’t, i’ll sell it again and… get the Holy Grail… yeah
sorry for the probably most redundant post ever… i should start a blog, huh…
Fender&EHX4ever;is right, there is little appreciation for the sound coming from the audience and a lot of it coming right from you… sometimes only the right gear can inspire the right ideas
of course the rolled off highs are probably the best way to go here… also experiment with different amounts of mixed-in reverb in the Echo mode
i absolutely love tube amps but i didn’t have very great experience with tube pedals. i owned a Damage Control Solid MEtal distortion once and i was expecting it to be more dynamic… it wasn’t
i tend to be very picky when it comes to distortions since then… after SM i got Visual Sound Jekyll&Hyde;and now i have the Catalinbread DLS, both are “solid state” and i like them more (well i like the DLS the best, Jekyll is gone)
I believe that some pedals can be better with tubes in it, for example reverbs… but i believe that when it comes to distortion, as far as the tubes are behind it (in the power amp), it has the potential to be great

sorry guys for the czech/slovak conversation
PÅ™epñnaÄem asymetrie funguje LEN pri squarewave. Ja som SK/HU. Website is comin’ on!

Dreamhunter: he’s from SK/HU borders, he lives on the SK side. I traded his tap tempo for White Finger compressor and there wasn’t any problem with communication or transactions… he’s great to deal with!
wow, that’s a hard one… the thing is the SMMH is a pure digital delay. Although it’s very natural sounding, it is digital and it isn’t trying to simulate tape or analog character at all
so basically you can’t really get those sounds it would completely miss the tape saturation… sorry, bro
BUT if you don’t mind spending some more money, i can recommend you getting a Danelectro Reel Echo. that’s a good tape echo simulation, even though it’s digital, it – again – sounds very natural, has a decent modulation built-in, you can choose between solid-state and tube character and it can do this crazy oscillation

BUT GODDAMN, WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT TAP TREMOLO? do you have any information about it? i have the same and i absolutely don’t know where it comes from… aren’t you the builder? I “customized it with black chickenhead knobs, you can see it in this photo
Hi there that’s a good demo! i think you kinda have the talent for making demos – it was interesting, good quality, the right amount of talking and decent playing
Thanks, I really appreciate that! I’m not totally comfortable in front of a camera yet, but I’m trying to overcome that. I’m the main singer in my band, so I’m trying to get rid of any ‘insecurities’ (for lack of a better word… I’m Dutch) and I think that making Youtube video’s will help that, because it’s such a large audience that can watch them! And you’ve seen the comments on some video’s, there’s some really harsh trolls out there haha
