also would like to know. i love love love this pedal. i dunno what it is, but it has its own sound.
danieldangerParticipantid like a click track that isnt completely useless. haha. the moment i play anything i can barely hear it, even with the volume knob cranked. i certainly cant hear it if im running drums into it. hard clap sounds! not slight electrical tssss sounds..
otherwise, im way into this thing.
danieldangerParticipantthey are actually gone at the moment, let me see if i can find em. ill put em back up.
danieldangerParticipantive seen them not sell for $100 on ebay, sitting in stores for $150, etc. theyre around, but not many people seem to be going after them.
danieldangerParticipanti found one of these at a shop in NYC for $250. its pretty beat up, but works just dandy. the vibrato is great.
danieldangerParticipantand thats when i swoop in and strike!
danieldangerParticipantok, my doors unlocked, but i have no idea why! im going to go for a walk…

danieldangerParticipantim a purist! rah rah rah! angry! rah rah rah! i hate fun! rah rah rah!
danieldangerParticipanti want one of these things.
danieldangerParticipantyou apparently havent seen my “i hate to be a tease’ thread.

since my geekness knows no bounds, i stumbled into another one of these considerably cheaper than the last and snagged it. the seller didnt seem to know what it was and could only provide a terrible photo in which the pedal looked somewhat damaged. i was hoping the bottom part of the casing would be in slightly better shape than mine and i could swap em out and have one near perfect one and one that was a little banged up, but when the package arrived and i opened it up i discovered this one was in better shape than the first. and check out the battery that was in it! when the hell do you think thats from… on top the new one is on the right, and with the innerds photo the new one is on the left.
danieldangerParticipantgreat, now i have to add that truck to my list-of-things-to-find-for-the-collection.
danieldangerParticipanti defiantly prefer the deluxe. you can get a little more grit into it. plus the sensitivity knob lets you adjust it to get a little more ‘workable’ with it. the deluxe is currently hooked up to that roland cymbal there and a light tap is a ping! up to a strong hit which is the whole pIOOOOOOOOIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! while the space drum is pretty much a set sound regardless of the input signal. but im still trying different pads out, maybe i can figure something better.
danieldangerParticipantalso, the space drum is pretty excellent. you can get those kind of tones with the crash pad, but its MUCH harsher.
