    I don’t think that I am hostile, but frustrated with you guys and your lack of customer service.
    It is a common discussion on this forum that your two loopers, the 22500 and 45000 loopers don’t have this workflow feature.

    The common answer is 3 words. no it doesn’t..over and over again. Its frustrating to deal with representatives from your company never addressing the follow up question…why? I asked the “why” question about the 22500 months ago and got silence.

    So let the users know why isn’t this feature or the feature of an alternate way of deleting loops is not being addressed. I know the pedal firmware can be updated. I know programming wise you can do it since the 720 can. is it hardware limitations? Do you just not care since most folks have already purchased the product?

    Because everything else about these pedals is awesome and exactly what I’m looking for but the lack of this feature is a deal breaker and I would hate to buy a different product and then a month later you guys decide to update the firmware and add that feature.

    Can you help us, your customers, out? Are new features being discussed as possible firmware updates or not…

    If “No it doesn’t” or “the 720 does” is the only response customers can get from you guys then I’ll be buying a Pigtronix Infinity Looper since you guys don’t seem to care what your customers want. Pigtronix has recently included this option because customers have asked for it.
    peace.

    All of this! Please! especially the workflow options…

    Quote:
    Dear INVENTORS OF LOOPING …with a stompbox,
    congratulations on the conception of the 22500! It’s by far the best new affordable looper pedal that I’ve seen entering the market in years.
    However, to make it an even better pedal – egoisticly speaking: for my purposes, as I’m not using a looper as an instant-playback-accompaniment-machine –
    I would kindly ask you to implement 3 little tweaks into the next firmware update …I mean, you will do firmware updates, right? ;-)

    First (this is a very common one): please add the option to change the behavior of the footswitch(es) from

    RECORD->PLAY->OVERDUB
    to
    RECORD->OVERDUB->PLAY
    (maybe, even independently for FSW A and B)
    …so, noone misses a beat.

    Second (probabely an easy one, too): please add the option to switch the original signal off of the output signal
    …for those like me, who use loopers in parallel efx loops or in the aux-pre bus of a mixer.

    Third (this might be a little bit trickier): please add two settings to OVERDUB/FEEDBACK
    (btw. I’m sooo glad the 22500 does actually have the OVERDUB/FEEDBACK feature! Most other manufacturers didn’t even think of that):

    1) the ability to switch from feedback/decay being present in OVERDUB mode only to feedback/decay being present in both OVERDUB and PLAY mode. In other words: I want the ability to let, say, Loop A decay while I record new material on to Loop B and vice versa.
    Otherwise, I’d have to buy a second 22500…and who would want that? HaHa! ;-)

    Consequently, the second setting would be

    2) the ability to switch from dialing in the OVERDUB/FEEDBACK rate commonly to independently for Loop A and B.

    I understand that the whole 3rd tweak would probabely only work in FREEFORM mode, of course. I also understand that the 3rd tweak is probabely pretty off-market and maybe not worth putting your thoughts and workforce on to. However, I think it would make the 22500 even more interesting and it definitely adds creative possibilities.

    Thanks for your time!

    Cheers
    …from someone who does livelooping already for 3 decades :-)

    What really sucks about this is that I upgraded from the 720 and didn’t even think that this would be an issue. I mean a looper with as many options as the 22500 should have a simple workflow option especially since the model below it does.

    Why can it be done with the 720 and not the 22500? that makes no sense, it is a simple feature. Is there a chance it will be added in the future firmware update? What about when you want to seemlessly develop a part?
    Please help me understand why this bypassed in this model.
