Ok Ned. I simulated the suggested modification with some jumpers. It did greatly reduce the hum from the unused channel. However, because there is still a FX box on each amp input between the switchblade and the amp I still get hum from the fx boxes.
So, I was thinking about adding a second input to the switchblade and wiring it like so:
This way there is no FX on the unused amp input. Do you think this would work. I don’t have another jack to test.
Dagan8ParticipantWOW!!! Thank You Ned!!! I will modify it.

A->Catalinbread SCP Boost->Fender Twin Ch1
B->Catalinbread SC Overdrive->Fender Twin Ch2The 2 Catalinbread pedals will always be on.
Since the Fender Twin allows me to use 2 channels at once will I get hum form the unused channel when switching? or a pop?
Not if B is grounded while you are using A, if its not you can easily make it so it does.
If there is a pop you can solder in a pulldown resistor (1Meg should do) from input/output to ground.Thanks Ned. Do you mind giving more detail on these 2 mods. Thanks again
Dagan8ParticipantQuote:Hi Dagan,Are you running your channels on your Twin noticeably different, or are you using the switchblade as a looper?
Yes I like to use 2 different Bass/mid/Trebble settings on each channel.
