I’ve never seen one but that would certainly be a market with low competition *hint hint ehx*

also if you have a pedal train style board, you could probably mount it underneath.

have you tried any other pedals in the same spot? maybe grab a boss DS1 or something cheap (DOD Grunge pedal? You know, something that won’t be missed by anyone ever) and see if it breaks in the same spot.

    yes that’s correct.
really though, if you get a powered volume pedal you don’t have to worry about impedances and it will work with whatever.

you can use whatever you feel like hauling to a gig live man. I’ve seen guys with modular synths gig with them. don’t let the guitar ctr employees tell you what you can and can’t do.

    @bluesteel
or maybe like one definitive unit that can do all of their sounds but no presets so we end up buying six copies

the manual says it takes an 18VAC [1000mA] supply, so it isn’t the same as a 1spot or godlyke or whatever. You’ll probably have to special-order one that is 240vAC to 18vAC, or get a stepdown transformer for 120vAC to 18vAC.
    cheers

have you tried a power conditioner? how about a DI box with a ground lift? those would be my first two things to try.

I’d be all about a Clockworks reissue along with some of EHX’s drum modules (XO cases? yeah?)

Pretty sure you can. I like to imagine J Mascis lives in a fort made entirely of variations of Big Muffs.

and good luck finding an analog reverb that isn’t spring-based. Last I heard even simple ones like the DOD FX45 and the Aria SRV-1 were hitting $200-$300 used if they showed up at all.

looks like a pair of 3005’s in the old version.
the 4047 is the clock and the NE570 is the compander.

dunno about the DMM(xo) but the DMB/MB/MT use 3208’s, which are functional equivalents to the old 3008s. wasn’t the DMM(original) a 3005-chip unit?

there is panning on the MuRF. it pans the filter output to different channels based on which filter it is triggering.

also, if you’re using the panning, wouldn’t it need to be the first thing in the stereo chain, aka mono in? I mean, the only autopanner that I can think of that is stereo-in would be the Alesis Ampliton or maybe something on a Kaoss Pad or other multifx processor.

and +1 on the sentiment that not everyone has switched to midi – I’m a keyboardist by nature and I refuse to use either it or a computer for sound creation. I’m probably in the minority there, though.

what are you expecting out of an analog delay? the most you’ll really be able to get is 1000ms and that’s with a moogerfooger 104 or an Ibanez/Maxon AD999….
