the effects loop of filters is more so it’ll get your initial dynamics, innit? So things that mess with your dynamics – distortions, compressors, limiters, bitcrushers. Delays if you want it to get weird in the sense that the filter will probably be closed while the delay is still doin’ its thing.

have you tried it directly into the amp, no bypasser? I’m not trying to be a jerk with these, just trying to help troubleshoot.

hey, you’d be surprised how many of the errors on here are definitely users overlooking things or being generally inexperienced. You can’t tell from the internet.
per here, looks like the first is supposed to act as a volume, second as a fuzz.

that said, I thought the slightly older large box models were kind of an overdrive type grainy sound on single and a raucous fuzz on double. hope this helps.

Have you tried glass cleaner (windex type stuff?)

It means it isn’t going to clip because you’ve got your SUPER-MEGA-Blow-the-jfets-out-of-your-non-truebypass-Overdrive pedals on; Ironically, that means exactly that you CAN run it in your effects loop.
