I took the leap a couple months ago and so far I’m really rather enjoying mine.

I have to say that it seems pretty sturdy. I played a gig a couple weeks back, and I think that one of the patrons even splashed wine on it, and it seems to work just fine.

One thing that I do notice about it is that the output seems to be buffered and thus doesn’t not have necessarily the feeling of a “live” performance. I wonder if they could have chosen to go for a higher bit depth say 24-bit as opposed to 16-bit for more clarity in performance. I briefly owned a TC Electronic Looper, and returned it because I thought the output on it was buffered too.

I used it to create a backing track for this song: If You’s a Viper

I highly recommend it. I just bought it for my Moog Guitar, and I cacasde the tubes by plugging the mono output into the stereo in jack. This way I can get everything from smooth glassy cleans to heavily saturated fuzz tones.

P.S. to put “glassy” may not be correct, but the frequency range retains its clarity and brightness while still being quite warm. I’m using a Fishman Performer as my main amp now, and the LPB-2ube makes it sounds so much fuller. Chaining the two channels together allows me to control the tone in interesting ways by varying the hi/lo input as well as the volume/gain combinations of the two channels.

No it wasn’t a April Fool’s Joke. The guys I order from were holding one and had to send it back because it was part of a defective unit recall. They should be back in soon, if they aren’t already.

Did you get yours back yet?

I just got an email from Roland, so I suppose it is their looper. It doesn’t have footswitches as far as I can tell, so it seems useless live.

Looking at the different options the 45000 looks like the best if you include the footswitch.

I hope I get one without the chassis/headphone volume/noise issues

Did you get this issue fixed?

Was your pedal part of the massive pedal recall I heard about?

You might check to see if it was one of the defective units.

I don’t have a clue what happened to my text color.
