companymanParticipantI would love to dump my Carbon Copy for a similarly sized EHX delay , I do hope that it has the vibrato type modulation ! The Carbon Copy has a weak excuse for modulation , but the size is right ! I have to have another delay in my second loop to compliment my Deluxe Memory Man !

There are so many possibilities in this box that coming up with names is daunting ! What I think I’m going to do is find sounds for specific songs in my bands set and just use the song titles! The trick will be being fast enough with all of the knob and switch changes for a live set ! Unlikely !!! :doh:

Yeah man I have been deeply engrossed with the Flanger Hoax ! I am currently working on some more subtle “usable” settings for performance with my band “EARMARK SAINTS” and have come up with two . One I call the “Leslie Follower” because it does the rotating , chorusy thing with a pitch bendy following tone , truly unique , I’ve never heard the sound before ! It has inspired a new song that I am currently working on ! I have also found something approaching the Gilmour “Animals” era Electric Mistress sound , which is easing my GAS for one of those over-priced beasts ! :thumb:

This is true , Howard Davis himself told me so on the Gear Page . He seems like such a cool guy and is very proud of his work with EHX and more recently Pigtronix . The y are doing some crazy stuff over there like the Mothership and the Echolution !

companymanParticipantIt seems to me that most of the EHX designs were made with lower output single coil guitars in mind . Humbuckers seem to cause overload and weird clipping in a lot of their pedals . Was there a preference in the EHX kitchen ?

I have added an old big box Graphic Fuzz to the DMM and the Small Stone and am on the hunt for an original Electric Mistress . Slowly will regain some of these , Microsynth in particular , and a Pulsar . I have access to many “Boutique” type pedals and they leave me flat. There is something about EHX that is unique and magical !
