I am very curious about this also….am wondering if there is an internal trim pot for the color/depth control?
companymanParticipanthaving treadle control over the rate would be pretty cool!
companymanParticipantGoodhonk says it sounds just like a Bassballs, did this precede that pedal?
companymanParticipantI have to say that your choice of King Crimson in the Christina Ricci dance scene in Buffalo 66 was perfect, unexpected and perfect.
Do you have any pics of your modular EHX unit thingy?
companymanParticipantI recently watched Basquiat; The Radiant Child, I didn’t know you were in Gray…..that must have been an exciting time! I would love to see pics of your modular EHX system!
companymanParticipantQuote:Yes I am, please don’t hold it against me !!! kind regards, Vincent Gallo (longtime EH user and lover)hahaha…..I lived in Buffalo for 8 years in the late 80’s-early 90’s, went to Buff State majoring in Art (painting) and gigged around town, worked as a guard at the Albright-Knox Museum, my ex-girlfriend auditioned for Buffalo 66, didn’t get the part though….I have great memories of that town!Very cool to meet you, I have been obsessed with EHX for 30+ years! Merry Christmas.
companymanParticipantare you really Vincent Gallo, the actor from Buffalo?
companymanParticipantactually, the size of the Flanger Hoax doesn’t bother me as much as the volume drop, and to a lesser extent, the noise issues. I found myself having to buy other pedals (a boost, then later a Boss LS-2) to deal with the dramatic volume drops that made it almost unusable in a live situation. Ultimately I sold the Flanger Hoax because I needed the $, but it was expendable because of the volume drop.
companymanParticipantI would love to see an XO version of the Flanger Hoax!
companymanParticipantBastro-Sing The Troubled Beast
companymanParticipantI really hope that someone at EHX is listening on this, a controller would really open up the performance capabilities of an otherwise brilliant device. The Hazarai knob is great for recording and messing about at home, but on stage switching modes and such is near impossible to do quickly and accurately. I love this pedal and would love to get more use out of it during performance. Saving and being able to summon loops would make this pedal invincible!
companymanParticipantI would love it if EHX developed a controller like the Hog and 2880 for the SMMH, so you can save multiple presets for each mode, especially the 1 sec with modulation mode. While your at it, have the controller be a memory storage for loops as well.
companymanParticipantI’ve read that there is a trim pot inside the Dr.Q that adjusts something, not sure what though.
companymanParticipantgood point.
