Thanks for the kudos. I have been fascinated with the vocoder thing since I first heard and saw the TRANS tour in 82. At the time I think Neil said he owned one of the only two vocoders in existence, or something like that. I always thought you had to have a keyboard to track it. The Voicebox tracks really quick really fast. I’ve got to rewatch the TRANS concert DVD (Live in Berlin) and keep an eye on what’s really going on!

Anyway, Neil’s lyrics are always a little spacey anyway, so why not approach them with a disembodied voice?
