That would kick immense ass. I suppose you could try to get in touch with one of EHX’s R&D dudes and offer them large amounts of money to build you a pedal, but I don’t know how well that would go over… :P

There were a couple of pretty cool trimpots inside that Prophet VS, but its owner chased me away before I could completely remove the anti-aliasing circuit…

    Good times.

Speaking of PGS, EHX should do a PGS limited run, like Diamond and Lovepedal…

I’m thinking, Big Muff Pro? :P

Back on topic, this thing has me salivating… that attack delay is REALLY musical.

Well, if you’re into U2, tap tempo is pretty much a necessity, so Haz it is…

Wrong question. And yes, I’m pretty sure it is. Whoever told you pedals need to be True Bypass should be thoroughly lectured. You can only really hear the difference in extreme cases (eg, a Crybaby) or if you have an otherwise pristine setup. Which I doubt.

In any case, this is my friend’s setup, who has very similar tastes to you: Tube Zipper->Metal Muff->Stereo Memory Man w/Hazarai

It’s a very nice $425 rig. You can get those ominous clean sounds with the SmMw/H, really intense metal sounds with the MM, and stuff ranging from trippy to funky with the Tube Zipper.

If you have a bigger budget, I’d probably splurge on a MicroPOG. Or a POG2.

I have no idea what it would sound like, though…

Simple. We just need an Infinite Improbability Drive. Although that could have some… tracking problems…

The tubes of tomorrow: improbability drive technology.

I write a megapost, and I only get responses to the last sentence. Typical. :P

I’d be all over this if it was made. All you would need, as far as I can see, is a Freeze button, a mix knob, and an effects loop. The loop would have so many possibilities: put in an octave for organ sounds, a wah for ambient sweeping type things, or to send it to a different amp… as a keyboardist, I could find dozens of uses for that! =D

I’m gonna have to do my own version of this thread, sorry.

This gives me an idea… a line of pedals entirely made up of Haz/Pog2 type controls…

More to the point. Scott, $2,500 for all the info. :P
