Eh, I’d say HG+. Holier Grail is essentially that with non-foot-switchable gating (fix this please!) for twice as much. The HG+ is a VERY solid pedal, I’d go with that.

Or maybe just hire Hi I’m Andy From Pro Guitarshop.com Playing Through A G&L Legacy Into A 65 Amp Soho Here’s The Pedal In True Bypass to do some stuff…

And Scott, I sort of mean a medium between the Talking Head demos and the Videosong demos.

Yah, I’m thinking a Muff would be ideal. As to the OD, we’re looking for something more unorthodox than a tube screamer.
As to delay, we’re thinking digital. Presets are ideal, as he switches between slapback, medium, and ambient delays a lot, and tap tempo is always a plus…

Well, I think you need springs for a real spring verb, but the casing would be so large, you might be able to fit one in… like, for 6 tubes a la the tube series, you’d need a casing about as big as a Boss ME-50… :P

    NOOOOO!

Trust me, picking up the Digitech will seem like a great idea, but they’re terribly built, foul sounding, and unmusical. If you must go the Multieffect route, and it kills me to say this, get the Boss ME-70. Same price, but better built, more features, and slightly better sound. If you can afford it, go for the TC Nova System. It’s stunning sounding.

Well, the Effectology videos effectively show the upper limit of what EHX gear is capable of, as opposed to a demo similar to the product demos you have on individual pedal’s pages.

Also, I really prefer official videos… but I know it can’t be cheap to have guys like Peter Stroud demoing gear. :P

EHX should do more demos of pedals in combination… ya hear that? *poke*

It’d be really cool to do demos of common combos, eg, Dr. Q/Big Muff or Big Muff/Holy Grail…

    *pokes Scott*
