Or an expansion to the holy stain line in general, yah, that’d be great. Throw tubes into your idea and you get a tube amp in a box. XD

Or, the pedal that I keep meaning to getting around to building: two Big Muffs with the associated gain, tone, and volume knobs for each circuit.

I’d have to say that the big POG will probably become a collectors item within about 10 years or so, probably because it’s going to become XO’d with some possible control changes. I also think the Double Muff will become somewhat sought after, because it’s probably going to end up discontinued (not that I want it to, this is just speculation). What are your thoughts? What pedals do you think I should buy so they can be sold in a time of crisis for big bucks somewhere down the road?

No way you’d XO the POG. THe entire selling point is that it’s so versatile, it would be like shooting yourself in the foot.

I have a Novation Xio, a Fender Rhodes, and a Roland Digital Piano, with a Roland MC-303 on the way.

Oh wait, you wanted guitars? All I have is my ESP M-100.

those stupid “synth” pickup things with all of the different sounds

Plain not true. MIDI pickups allow your guitar to sound like, quite literally, anything you can imagine, and if you’re too impatient to bother programming a decent patch, or too cheap to invest in a good synth module, that reflects on you, not the hardware. As a synthesist, the implications that the only thing that sounds good is a guitar with minimal pedals (and across several posts, you’ve strongly suggested that) is not just offensive, but ignorant.

    Nerd rage rawr.

Tuner with Hazarai. Or better yet, a tube tuner. Maybe it can also have germanium transistors and a built in mini-Van De Graff Generator. (speaking of 60s rock). ;p

It depends. My first reaction is DON’T DO IT!, but if you never use your pedals, and you NEED a compressor, go ahead.

What would be the difference between that and #1 echo?
