chevParticipant
that’s strange, the Ps should be in the original box with the pedal…
They should send you the PS with no extra fee, it’s their mistake after all!
good luck!
chevParticipantgo see that thread, lots of settings with the Hoax there:

hey, after reading the specs on Voodoo Lab…I’m getting the Voodoo Lab PP2+.
http://www.voodoolab.com/pedalpower_2.htm
thanks for the info Julian!
chevParticipantQuote:nice clip!!!! Really interesting drone stuff going onBTW I’m reading your sig. You don’t want a Dunlop DC Brick. You want a Voodoo Labs PP2+.
oh yeah? is it better at isolating the ground of my pedal and getting rid of the noise and switch poping?
because for now, I’m getting shocked everytime I touch my jack cable plug in my Sunn Solarus and one of my pedal! I’ve changed the polarity switch on the amp and didn’t fix it?
I’ll have my tech friend look at my Sunn soon…it needs some new caps…it’s really scary when you look at the schematic…there’s like 560V at some places…ouch! anyway it’s for another story, another thread…
thanks for the comments.
chevParticipantQuote:Quote:here’s my last experiment with the hoax…and muff’s…Is this multi-tracked? With you tweaking the Hoax? I’m guessing the Hoax is most of the high squeely sounds?
Yes it’s 3 tracks.
One with my guitar setup including the hoax in electric mistress setting, one track with the bass setup and one last track with the hoax by itself. I record one part or the other first and accompaign it.
chevParticipantI would love to get the Memory Boy and use it with my expression pedal…
and the cathedral looks like a fully loaded reverb machine
chevParticipanthere’s my last experiment with the hoax…and muff’s…
chevParticipantThis is where all the settings are. It helps a lot at knowing the pedal.

it’s the easiest way I found.chevParticipantI finally got time to send a picture of my actual pedal board.
I’m glad I just got the Electro Harmonix Pedal bag, so I can bring my toys back home to practice between the session with my band.
Next buy will be a Dunlop DC Brick power supply to make some space for a Micro Pog, Nano Clone, Memory Man with Hazarai, Graphic Fuzz…it’s just a matter of time!
chevParticipantAll my popping problem was related to one bad wire in fornt of them.
This reduce the Signal to Noise Ratio so badly!
So practically all the pedal after that defect wire was popping like hell and give only 20% of there gain…
Now, I have no pop anymore and it Fuzz 100%!
My pedal are still noisy even with the TU-2 On (which mean everything should be mute…)
But the 2 Big Muff at full Sustain and Boost are so powerful they boost whatever signal or noise left at there input…
But for the wall of Fuzz they give me…I can live with…hehe!
I wonder if I can put a NS-2 somewhere in there to reduce that? I’ll test that.
chevParticipantOk, I finally found the problem.
There were a defective wire…pretty unexpected because it was new?
I got rid of the NS-2 and bought a TU-2, much more useful…
chevParticipantQuote:In just over a month I went from this hideous thing:
to this frenzy of fuzz
ehh it cuts some off, but only the crybaby
Hey how does the Big Muff Wicker sounds with the Graphic Fuzz?
chevParticipantThe Graphic Fuzz in front or after a Big Muff Wicker with the Tone Off would become a Big Muff with 6 band EQ…I would prefer a FX pedal but I’m still working on getting the best Fuzz sound I can wich is my root sound.
I wonder if it would EQ my sound good in both amp with just one graphic fuzz. maybe i’ll need two…crazy setup.
Would like to see a demo of this!
chevParticipantexcellent!
I’ll try that for sure.
thanks a lot.
